A swimmer who trained alongside Josh Willis, Hayley could barely contain her delight when he turned up at a party down by the lake, and dragged him off to help her with the barbecue. Though Hayley did her best to keep Josh's attention, he was distracted by his ex, Amber and a new friendship she was forming with a guy named Clay. Completely oblivious to her crush on him, Josh left a disappointed Hayley on her own by the barbecue to go and look for Amber, and was upset when he finally spotted her, kissing Clay.
