Mike Wisher 2007

After being left paralysed following a freak accident, Frazer Yeats was slowly returning to his old self and realising that he could still live an active life in a wheelchair. He was particularly inspired after seeing a wheelchair basketball team play and, as they finished their training session, he approached the captain, Mike, and said that he’d be interested in joining the team if they needed an extra player. However, Frazer was in for a reality check as he told Mike that he hadn’t played basketball since school and had only been in the chair for a month. Mike told him that being in a wheelchair didn’t automatically make him a Paralympian and he’d need to put in a lot of training before he could join up.
