When Harold's Store waitress Amber Turner found herself facing a difficult customer, who loudly complained that the food she'd received wasn't what she'd ordered, stranger Paige Novak stepped in, telling Andrea that the food she'd been given was probably better than what she'd ordered anyway. She suggested that Andrea should at least try it first, and that the cafe would give her a full refund if she still wasn't happy. Andrea accepted this and piped down, but Amber wasn't impressed with Paige, who she'd already caught flirting with her boyfriend Josh earlier that day. Amber's mum, and cafe owner, Lauren was slightly more impressed with Paige's method of dealing with the situation, but as they chatted, she was completely unaware that Paige was actually her long-lost daughter, adopted out at birth.
