Following the breakdown of her marriage to Toadie Rebecchi and his move to Colac, Terese Willis decided on a fresh start, with the first part of her plan being to hire a landscaper to revamp her front garden. Unfortunately, as she was putting on a brave face to her friends, recovering alcoholic Terese had fallen off the wagon and was suffering withdrawals when landscaper Matt Yan arrived to chat to her. As he showed her some ideas, she started to feel unwell and was forced to cut the meeting short, asking Matt to email her with his suggestions so she could make a decision.
