Having previously bumped into Dr Rob Carson as they both put a gift under the tree during Lassiters' Christmas in July event, Amy Williams failed to recognise him when they met again a few weeks later. To make matters more awkward, Rob turned out to be the doctor performing the procedure when Amy went to hospital for her HPV test later that day. Though Amy wasn't embarrassed, it appeared that Rob felt that it was unethical, as he quickly left the room and a different doctor, Louise Zimmerman, returned a few minutes later. She explained that Rob had been called away and, after doing the HPV test and some mole tests that Amy had requested, Louise explained that the results would be back in a few weeks.
