Chalky's Restaurant 1985

The restaurant where insurance assessor Richard Morrison took Maria Ramsay for their first date, having only met each other earlier that day. During dinner, Richard told Maria about his divorce, but when he started to steer the conversation in the direction of Maria's recent marriage breakdown, she became uncomfortable, talking about her personal life to a man she'd only just met. Maria explained that she was tired and asked if he would take her home. Fortunately, this didn't put Richard off, and the pair continued to see each other for a few weeks, before moving to Hong Kong together.
