Loris' house 2006
Residents: Loris Timmins
Bought by Loris Timmins, in her maiden name of Beaumont, in 2006, this large town house was used as her retreat from her crumbling marriage, after learning that her husband, Alwyn, had been cheating on her with a much younger woman. Desperate to avoid making contact with her daughter-in-law, Janelle, who lived across town, Loris only made her presence known to favourite granddaughter Janae, swearing her to secrecy. She then made the mistake of contacting personal trainer Ned Parker, trying but failing to seduce him and agreeing to invest in his business, not realising that he was a neighbour of the Timmins family and shared a house with Timmins cousin, Toadie. Her cover was blown when Ned brought lawyer Toadie to dinner, and he eventually recognised Nana Timmins, not having seen her for years. Loris eventually fled the area after it was revealed that she was responsible for swapping Janelle’s youngest daughter, Bree, with another child at birth. It is unknown what became of her town house.
