After attending Adelaide University, and the Victorian College of Arts' School of Drama, Damien Fotiou began his acting career in 1998 with a guest role in the series Good Guys Bad Guys and in 1999, took on one of his best-known roles, as the identical twins Sundance and Sutch in 38 episodes of Thunderstone.

As well as guest roles in series including Halifax F.P., The Secret Life Of Us, Stingers, Blue Heelers, Underbelly and Rush, Damien was also a regular in the series Kick in 2007, playing Nico Angelidis.

In late 2014, Damien joined the cast of Neighbours, in the ten-week role of Dr Nick Petrides, the brother of established character Terese Willis, who falsely told Paul Robinson that he was suffering from leukaemia.

His film appearances have included Kangaroo Jack, Head On, Beware of Greeks Bearing Guns and The Book of Revelation.
