Brodie Holland Football Player
Brodie Holland 2006
During a Buddhist retreat he was attending with Katya Kinski, Max Hoyland was instructed by the course leader, Howard Lane, to immerse himself in his meditation by thinking positive thoughts. This then led Max into a dream about Collingwood player Brodie Holland suddenly emerging from the television during a grand final match, and asking him to play for them, as captain. After Max took up the offer and ran out of his kitchen onto the footy field, the dream then showed him being carried into the bar on the shoulders of the players, as the hero of the hour, and a happy Max was snapped out of the dream by Howard.
Born in 1980, Brodie Holland is a professional footballer in the AFL, originally hailing from Tasmania where he played for the Tasmania under 18s team. He was drafted to play for Fremantle in 1997, before joining Collingwood in 2000. As well as his cameo appearance in Neighbours, Brodie was also a contestant on the 2005 series of Dancing With The Stars.
