Kyal Marsh
Kyal Marsh
Played: Boyd Hoyland
Appeared: 2002-2007
Born in Clare, South Australia on 16th August 1987, Kyal's family relocated to East Melbourne when he was one year old.
He became involved in the industry at an early age, working as a child model and appearing in catalogues such as Target and Fosseys. He then branched in television work in 2000, appearing in a commercial for Shell.
In 2002, Kyal received his first acting role when he was cast as Boyd Hoyland, the grandson of character Rosie Hoyland in Neighbours. Shortly afterwards, Marsh left school, aged 16, and continued to play the role on a regular basis for the next five years. In 2007, the decision was made not to renew Kyal's contract when it expired and he filmed his final scenes in April of the same year, alongside fellow departing castmate, Stephanie McIntosh (Sky Mangel).
Follwing his Neighbours role, Kyal has expressed an interest in furthering his acting career in England and L.A. Soon after filming his final scenes, he moved to London where he stayed with former castmate Ben Nicholas (Stingray Timmins) and began auditioning for roles. He later became a contestant on the second series of reality show Cirque De Celebrite.
