Darius Perkins
Played: Scott Robinson 1/Marty Kranic
Appeared: 1985/2013, 2014

Darius Perkins first started acting in grade 1 at primary school. Prisoner Cell Block H actress Val Lehman was his drama teacher.

Darius' first role was on The Sullivans in 1976. He played Charlie in All The Green Years in 1980, as well as the guest role of Trevor Collins in Prisoner Cell Block H in 1983 and Hedley Skinner in A Country Practice in 1984.

Darius also played Ben in the HBO movie, All the Rivers Run in 1983, for which he won a Logie Award.

This was followed in 1985 by the role of Scott Robinson in Neighbours. Darius was the original actor to play the role of Scott Robinson, but appeared for only the show's first year. When the series moved to Network Ten at the start of 1986, the role was taken over by Jason Donovan. Although rumours persisted that he was fired due to lateness and problems on set, Darius told us in a 2013 interview that the producers had wanted him to stay, but his contract had ended and he'd already made other plans.

After leaving Neighbours, Darius went on to play Gary Samuels in Home and Away and appeared in TV movie Ratbag Hero.

Darius did various theatre work and acted as Art Director on two Bollywood films that were shot in Australia.

Darius appeared once again on A Country Practice in the mid-1990s as character Graham Irvine, and more recently has been seen working behind the scenes, most notably in the art department for the TV series Crashburn.

In July 2013, it was announced that Darius would be returning to Neighbours in the guest role of Marty Kranic. He went on to make several appearances as Marty during 2013 and 2014.
