Jesse Rosenfeld was born October 17th 1983 in Melbourne, Australia and was raised in Cairns.
As a child, Jesse expressed an interest in acting and made his debut at the age of 13, when he was cast alongside Glenn Close and Cate Blanchett in the film Paradise Road in 1997.
In the following years, he completed his education and spent a year studying at the University of Melbourne as well as training at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, before being admitted to the Victorian College of the Arts.
Whilst studying, Jesse starred in a number of theatre productions as part of the VCA Company, such as Translations, Women Beware Women and A Midsummer Night's Dream. After graduating in 2005, he was critically acclaimed for his role as the Oscar-winning composer, Bernard Herrman in Hitchcock & Herrmann. In 2007, he made his television debut as Marco Silvani in Neighbours.
He is currently dating fellow actor, Lana Meltzer.
