Ben Lawson (Frazer Yeats) looks to have made a swift transition from Neighbours to Hollywood as he's rumoured to be starring in the US pilot of an as-yet untitled series about "hard-living, hard-working" young lawyers.

Also busy this year, Craig McLachlan (Henry Ramsay) has recently been filming a feature film called Savages Crossing in Australia alongside John Jarrat. He's also been writing and recording music for the film and has also taken on several guest roles in Aussie drama serials. Jacinta Stapleton (Amy Greenwood) has also moved back to the screen after several months of theatre work; she's thought to have won a guest role in the BBC produced Australian drama Out Of The Blue.

Nicky Whelan (Pepper Steiger) has rekindled her relationship with US funnyman David Spade; she recently spent a holiday break with him in Malibu. Another travelling couple are Brett Tucker (Dan Fitzgerald) and Eliza Taylor-Cotter (Janae Timmins) who recently had a romantic getaway to exotic Koh Samui. However on their return home they were left waiting six hours in Bangkok Airport when their Jetstar flight was late.

And finally, we at Perfect Blend would like to congratulate Ryan Moloney (Toadie Rebecchi) on becoming a father for a second time. His wife Alison recently gave birth to son Jack, who follows their first child, Erin, who was born 20 months ago.

Bail-Ing Out
July 13 2008

Today's Sunday Herald Sun reports that Imogen Bailey filmed her final scenes as Nicola West on Thursday, following a six-month guest stint. Nicola's final plot is said to be sensational, but she won't be killed off, with rumours that she may be back for a guest appearance later in the year.

Also finishing up recently was Erin McNaught, who also had a six month guest contract as Sienna Cammeniti. After being shoehorned into the show by executives, Erin has had little to do as Sienna, though the character will get a story of her own just before she goes. Erin filmed her final scenes on Friday 4th July.

Valentine lost consciousness several times and had to be administered oxygen by cabin crew. She was hospitalized immediately after landing in Melbourne and her mother rushed to be by her side from Sydney. The condition is thought to have developed from a chest infection which was exacerbated by the plane flight.
