Delta To Return?

TV Week is also reporting that Delta Goodrem (Nina Tucker) is currently in negotiations for a Neighbours return, joining the ever-growing list of musical talent set to play at Charlie's bar. Bizarrely, however, it is currently unknown whether the cameo appearance will see Delta playing Nina or simply appearing as herself.
Ben's Got Scissorhands

Following the success of last year's series for Children In Need, the BBC are again opening the salon for their reality series Celebrity Scissorhands which sees a variety of celebrities training as hairdressers. Amongst the celebrities this year are comedienne Ninia Benjamin, Hollyoaks actress Carly Stenson and Neighbours' very own Ben Nicholas (Stingray Timmins). The series will last three weeks and will kick off on Sunday 28th October on BBC Three.

Neighbours: The Perfect Blend is very proud to unveil our new look today, to coincide with the BBC One debut of the revamped 'back to basics' Neighbours. We've taken into account feedback from our readers and tried to keep the change to a minimum, blending the old look with some new graphics inspired by Neighbours' new opening titles.

Kylie's New Album

Kylie Minogue (Charlene Robinson)'s new album, entitled X is set for release on 26th November, with the first single 2 Hearts due out two weeks earlier, on the 12th. A full listing for Kylie's 10th album can be found at her official website.
To coincide with the new album, Kylie will be appearing in The Kylie Show on itv1 later this year, where she'll be marking twenty years in the music industry with performances of some of her biggest hits.
Phil Campbell Visits Set

Digital Spy reports that Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell couldn't resist a trip to the Neighbours set during a trip to Melbourne last week. Phil was reported to be "shaking with excitement" upon meeting the cast, explaining that he used to make his mum tape it for him if he was ever away on tour.
RTE Strikes A Deal

Irish broadcasters RTE have apparently struck a long-term deal with FremantleMedia, securing the future of Neighbours on their channels, as well as the rights to shows such as The Bill and Shortland Street.
The deal will see yet more money pumped into Neighbours, following the show's acquisition by Five in the UK earlier this year. It was announced this week that Neighbours' launch on Five is still pencilled in for the Spring of 2008, but could happen as early as February, and will coincide with a relaunch of the channel's news programming.
Nat's New Gig

Natalie Bassingthwaighte (Izzy Hoyland) is set to return to Australian screens in the coming months, as host of the Australian version of the hit US show So You Think You Can Dance.
Auditions for the show are set to begin later this month and, as if that wasn't enough to keep Nat busy, she'll also be promoting the third album from her band, Rogue Traders, which is entitled Better In The Dark and set for Australian release on Saturday.
