Dione 'Dee' Bliss When Toadie Rebecchi and Joel Samuels met Dione Bliss and her friend Vanessa Bradshaw in a club, they decided to have some fun and win the girls over by pretending to be a successful lawyer and an Argentinian soccer player. The girls lied that they were rich sisters who had just inherited money from the grandmother, but it didn’t take long for both lies to unravel. Nurse Dee continued to be pursued by Joel, however, and eventually the pair got together properly, with Dee making herself a permanent presence on Ramsay Street in late 2000 by moving in next door to Joel, sharing a house with teacher Tess Bell.
First Episode: 3453
First Words: “Hi.” (Toadie says that he couldn’t help noticing that Dee and Vanessa are alone) “So far.” (and apologises if he seems too forward) “Not at all.”
Behind-the-scenes: It was reported in 2000 that either Dee or her friend Carrie Clark, the two woman Joel was involved in a love triangle with, would be made a regular character and the decision would be made based on that story

Darcy Tyler Susan’s nephew Dr Darcy Tyler came to Erinsborough from his large country practice in late 2000 to spend some time working in the emergency department at Erinsborough Hospital. Nurse, and neighbour, Dee Bliss quickly fell for Darcy and attended the hospital ball with him, but as he was only around for a few weeks, and already had a long-term partner, Alice, back home, it was never destined to go anywhere. A few months later, a slightly more evil Darcy came back to Erinsborough to be locum for Susan’s husband Karl at his surgery and ended up sticking around, attempting to sell Karl’s practice from under him, whilst also finally getting together with Dee, only to cheat on her with her best friend Tess.
First Episode: 3663 (returned permanently in 3750)
First Words: (Dee approaches him and asks if he’s going to eat the cake he just bought) “No.” (she says that someone who looks as good as him couldn’t possibly eat cake) “Thank you.” (she then tells him that she’s still hungry) “Oh I’d give it to you but it’s for my aunt.”
