Ringo Brown
Named, thanks to his parents' Beatles obsession, after Ringo Starr, Ringo Brown was upset when his brother, George, left home. Aged 10, Ringo felt abandoned by his older brother and later went to boarding school. At the age of 16, Ringo found out that his other brother, Johnny, thought he’d spotted George in Erinsborough. He tracked his brother down to Ramsay Street, where he found out that George had changed his name to Frazer Yeats and had come to Erinsborough to try and win the heart of Johnny’s ex-fiancee, Rosie Cammeniti. Ringo agreed to keep his brother’s secret, pretending that his name was Rick Yeats, but it wasn’t long before the truth came out. Ringo managed to convince Frazer to let him stay and he enrolled at Erinsborough High, where he quickly developed a crush on Rachel Kinski.

Lolly Allen
Having left Ramsay Street in 2001 to live with her biological father, John Allen, Lolly returned with Lou Carpenter, the man who had raised her, for an extended stay, having found herself in trouble at school. As Lolly’s attention-seeking behaviour continued in Erinsborough, she revealed some bruises on her shoulder to her teacher, Pepper Steiger. However, when Lolly was about to reveal who had been hitting her, she panicked and lied to Susan Kinski that Pepper was the one who’d been hurting her. Pepper found herself suspended, while Lolly ran away from home and her stepmother, Sandy, came to help with the search. Although Lolly was found hiding at the garage, it was during that visit that Sandy showed her true colours. A few weeks later, Sandy returned to “look after” Lolly while Lou was away, and a confrontation ensued, with Sandy falling into the pool and hitting her head. With Sandy at the hospital, Lolly finally plucked up the courage to tell Lou the truth, and, with Sandy gone to sort out her marriage and face police charges, Lolly was finally free to get on with her life.

Oliver Barnes
When Carmella Cammeniti found out that her secretive boyfriend Will was actually Sebastian Barnes, heir to a multi-million dollar hotel empire, she was appalled that he hadn’t trusted her and ended their relationship. Within days, Will had disappeared from Erinsborough and his older brother, Oliver, turned up to explain that Will had been lying all along and Carmella wasn’t the first girl who’d been taken in by him. He explained that he was the one who’d gone backpacking around the world, whilst Will had struggled to survive without home comforts. Before long, Carmella was falling for Oliver, realising that he was the man Will had wanted to be.
First Episode: 5137
First Words: “Carmella? I’m… um, Will’s brother, I figured you deserved to know what’s going on.”
Behind-the-scenes: David Hoflin originally auditioned for the role of Will, but couldn’t take it after joining the cast of Secretary, a pilot that was never picked up for a series. Consequently, when Christian Clark left suddenly, David was offered the role of Oliver that Friday, and started work the following Monday.

Adam Rhodes
Mysterious English builder Adam Rhodes came into the life of Pepper Steiger in June 2007, as she had just gotten over a terrible experience at the hands of kidnapper Mary Casey. Pepper and Adam started off arguing non-stop, but it quickly became clear that they fancied each other, but Pepper was wary of trusting anyone, particularly as it seemed that Adam was hiding a big secret. When Pepper went to end things, Adam opened up about his past as a police officer in the UK and the murder of his partner, for which he blamed himself. Annoyed that Pepper hadn’t trusted him enough to open up in his own time, Adam left town, but later had second thoughts and was reunited with Pepper at her dad’s wedding.

After a brief fling between Ned and Kirsten in high school, Mickey had been produced, but Ned knew nothing about his son until Kirsten turned up one day and asked him to look after the boy and his dog Jake for a while, as she had recently lost her grandparents, her main support system, and was struggling to cope. She agreed to meet with him and the pair came face to face at Charlie’s bar. She explained to him how she had fallen pregnant as a teenager and given the baby to the Barneses, who had later paid her to leave and never see him again. Though Oliver was hopeful that they could now build a relationship, Rebecca told him that, although she was happy to meet him, they could never be a part of each other’s lives again, as she didn’t want her past to be dragged up, for the sake of her younger son, Declan.

The younger son of Rebecca Napier, Declan spent his teenage years committing petty crimes in order to help his cash strapped mum pay the bills. At his hideout in an old squat, Declan came across Mickey Gannon and his dog, Jake. Mickey had run away from his home in Ramsay Street, after messing around in a removal van, which then rolled into the road, causing a serious accident. Declan encouraged Mickey to stay with him, realising that the young boy could help him with pickpocketing, but Mickey was desperate to see his dad again. Declan offered to take him but, as they made their way to Ramsay Street, he spotted an open window and a computer inside, and convinced Mickey to go in and get it, claiming it was for a friend. Soon enough, Jake’s paw was injured on broken glass and Mickey’s Uncle Steve, a vet, turned up to take a look, only to realise that he already knew the dog and the runaway had to be close by. Mickey was returned home, while a horrified Rebecca learnt exactly what her son had been up to behind her back for so long.

Desperate to make contact with her son, Miranda convinced Bridget to tell her where Riley was, and the pair of them went down there to surprise him. He agreed to return to Erinsborough with them, but only for a while, and later admitted that the reason he had been so distant was because he felt unwanted, and that he had only been adopted because he’d come as part of the package with Didge.
