Tony Di Stasio's warehouse: Ringo & Carmella look into each other’s eyes but Carmella collects herself and pushes Ringo away telling him they were only dancing nothing more before walking off.
No 28 - Lounge: Tom dances with Rachel and reminisces about how in love with his wife Molly he was and how he loved to dance with her. Tom questions Rachel if she has anyone and Rachel admits she is unsure these days. Tom encourages her to go and find her ‘dance partner’ and sort things out. Rachel leaves and Tom decides to make a ‘cuppa’, taking the electric kettle to the gas stove.
No 30 - Kitchen: Frazer & Rosie celebrate as Frazer moves his foot and there is some movement in the leg. Rachel arrives and is thrilled at the news. Rosie tells her that Ringo is out working with Carmella, which clearly annoys Rachel. Rachel accepts the offer to stay and watch Tv until Ringo returns. The mail has a letter from Rocco to Frazer telling him how unhappy he is that he never asked for permission to marry Rosie and Frazer admits he thinks they should visit Rocco. Rosie agrees as long as she doesn’t have to be polite to her father.
The General Store: Having finished their final delivery to the store Carmella offers Ringo a lift home in the Ute but he wants to get home to see Rachel. Carmella thinks Ringo is feeling guilty about earlier and reminds him nothing happened but Ringo tells her he’s doesn’t feel guilty at all. Karl & Susan discuss the effects having to deal with Dementia is having on them and Karl admits it has been so much harder than he thought. Karl decides they can afford to stay away from the house a little longer with Rachel looking after Tom.
No 28 - Lounge: Confused, Tom calls out to his dead wife to turn off the TV. He turns his attention to the kettle and realises he hasn’t lit the gas. After lighting the stove, he leaves the kitchen calling out to Molly again.
No 30 - Kitchen: Rachel is excited to see Ringo but he wants to talk. Rachel asks to speak first telling him she wants to know if he has feelings for Carmella. Ringo tells a tearful Rachel he cannot deny it and is desperate not to hurt her. Rachel tells him it is too late for that.
No 28 - Lounge/kitchen: Tom believes he has to milk his cows and rushes out of the house. On the stove the a fire rages around the kettle.
No 30 - Kitchen: Rachel & Ringo agree to remain friends when they suddenly hear a smoke alarm going off. Rachel fears the worst.
No 28 - Lounge/kitchen: Audrey runs from the lounge as Rachel & Ringo arrive to see the kitchen is on fire. Rachel uses a fire extinguisher as Ringo runs to get another from the laundry.
Warrinor Prison - visiting area: Rocco greets Rosie but she is no mood to be civil telling her father he turned Uncle ray against them and now sending threatening mail to Frazer. Rocco introduces himself to Frazer curtly and Frazer cuts straight to the point asking for permission to marry Rosie. Rocco tells him he spent all Rosie’s time growing up looking after her and keeping her safe but Rosie calls it being a father. Rocco cannot understand how badly she is treating him but Rosie reminds her father she’ll marry Frazer whatever he says. Rocco turns to Frazer questioning if he truly loves Rosie and Frazer cannot express how much. Rocco agrees to give his blessing if they’ll apply for him to get a day release to walk Rosie down the aisle.
No 28 - Kitchen/lounge: Rachel & Ringo finally put the fire out and Ringo desperately tries to fan the smoke away to stop the smoke alarm going off. Susan & Karl rush in asking to know what happened. Rachel explains how the electric kettle was put on the stove but admits she left Tom alone. Karl is furious and tells Rachel they only left her with Tom, as they trusted her. Rachel cannot defend her actions. Susan returns from searching the house to explain Tom isn’t there.
Street: Tom wanders dangerously close to the traffic as it speeds past him. Tom believes the council has put a road through his land and wanders into the road but scared by the oncoming traffic retreats back to the verge.
Warrinor Prison - visiting area: Rosie suspects her father of having ulterior motives for wanting to come to the wedding but Frazer puts it down to maybe a father just wanting to walk his daughter down the aisle but Rosie cannot believe it. Frazer asks to speak to Rocco alone. Frazer tells Rocco that although Rosie wants him there he has let her down too often. Rocco promises Frazer he is being genuine. Frazer agrees to try and convince Rosie but vows if he hurts her in anyway on the wedding day he’ll ensure Rocco will never be a part of their lives again.
No 30 - Kitchen: Carmella is washing the dishes when Ringo return with news of the fire & his break up with Rachel. Carmella cannot believe he’s split with Rachel and is even more surprised to know he has done it due to his feelings for her. Ringo confronts the fact that they wanted to kiss each other and asks Carmella to admit she feels something for him. Carmella doesn’t deny it and orders Ringo to leave.
No 28 - Lounge/kitchen: Susan finishes her call to the police who have issued a missing persons report on Tom. Rachel promises she left Tom fully aware of whom he was. Karl returns with the news that no one in the street has seen Tom and wants to search for his father in the car. Rachel wants to join them but Karl wants her nowhere near him after what she has done. Rachel upset tries to explain how Ringo’s breaking up with her confused things but Karl tells her he couldn’t care less, Tom needs constant care and she left him alone. Rachel bites back that Karl left him alone too. Susan tries to calm things by getting them all out to the car to begin the search.
Street: Tom continues to shout abuse at the cars driving past to get off his land and is nearly hit by a truck. He truly doesn’t know where he is.
No 30 - Kitchen: Ringo is surprised to see Carmella is still there, expecting her to have run away from him. He challenges her to stop avoiding confronting their feelings for each other as he intends to go back to the field where they nearly kissed and wait for her. Carmella tells him she isn’t going to meet him but Ringo is sure she will. Ringo slips out as Rosie & Frazer return home. Rosie tells her sister how she has just seen Rocco for his blessing and Carmella is shocked she has bothered. Carmella believes like Rosie he could be up to no good asking for day release but questions Rosie’s real desire to have him there though. Carmella thinks he should be there but they’ll need to keep Rocco & Lucia apart.
Warrinor Prison - visiting area: Rocco is thrilled by the news Rosie wants him at the wedding and offers Frazer two pieces of advice. Family is the most important thing &have sons as daughters drive you crazy. Rosie tells her father she’ll see him at the wedding. Frazer warns Rocco again not to do anything at the wedding he’ll regret. Rocco looks on.
Street: Karl, Susan & Rachel spot Tom by the road and Karl rushes over to him. Tom recognises Karl and asks about the council building a road on his land… Karl promises his father it will be okay and hugs him.
No 30 - Kitchen: Rosie, Frazer & Carmella celebrate the decision to invite Rocco and hope the justice dept will grant the day release. Frazer shows them some photos taken at the dance rehearsal of her & Ringo and Rosie comments on how happy she looks even though Ringo is a terrible dancer. Carmella suddenly gets up and tells them she has to do something.
No 28 - Lounge: Karl takes Tom to his room and Rachel apologises again. Karl apologises as well for being so angry. They all agree he needs to have 24 hour care and Rachel suggests they throw Tom a leaving party. Karl thinks it is a great idea but now wants them all to talk through her problems with Ringo.
Country lane/paddock: Ringo thanks the driver for giving him a lift in the truck and gets out starts walking to across the field before sitting down on the fence. Across the other side Carmella pulls up in the Ute and sees Ringo waiting for her. Ringo meanwhile waits patiently unaware she is watching him. Carmella gets out of the truck but changes her mind and drives off. Ringo is upset to see a passing vehicle is not hers and as time passes he tries to keep his mind busy. Carmella returns and gets out of the truck again but seeing Ringo she decides against talking to him and drives off leaving Ringo still waiting.
