Charlie's: Vanessa tells Lucas she hasn't yet taken a pregnancy test, but is sure she is pregnant. Lucas replies that it's a blessing and that, financially they can afford to have another baby. Vanessa is worried, as Paul's offer to buy their house was low, but Lucas tells her there are more important things to worry about and, excitedly, the two embrace.

Lassiter's Complex: Having returned from a fundraiser meeting, Georgia is sitting at a table when Karl joins her, explaining that he has put her song in fourth place in their set list. Georgia explains that she would rather perform a cover instead, worried that it doesn't fit in with the rest of the set. Karl tries to calm Georgia down by offering a practise session. Georgia agrees, but tells Karl that he must be completely honest during their rehearsal.

No 26 - Kitchen: Georgia and Kate arrive, Georgia confessing to Kate she is still worried. Kate reassures Georgia that nerves are perfectly normal. Georgia panics that Kyle might not like the performance, but Kate replies that Karl has already given it the thumbs up. Kate then explains that she doesn't feel up to going to the gig. Georgia is disappointed, but tells Kate she has done some more research on treatment options for Kate. Kate thanks Georgia, but persuades Georgia not to think about it, but to instead focus on the gig.

Harold's Store: Lucas asks Vanessa if she wants a boy or a girl, but Vanessa says she just wants the baby to be healthy. Lucas wants another boy and teases Vanessa that one princess in the family is more than enough. Lauren comes over and asks if there is any news. Lucas promises to let her know about the status of the house sale, but as Lauren leaves she asks for any other news, and Lucas realises she knows about Vanessa's pregnancy. Vanessa explains that Lauren only suspects and that she doesn't want to rub Lauren's face in the news.

No 26 - Kitchen: Sheila is making a cup of tea when Chris comes in. She asks if the hot water is fixed. Chris tells her that it isn't and that Lyn should sort the situation. Sheila explains she has left messages but has not received a response. Kyle arrives, and suggests Lyn might be busy helping Steph, Chris replies they should stop paying rent. Sheila says no to this, but Chris points out that Lyn is obligated to sort it out. Kate comes into the kitchen but gets angry when told the hot water is still off. Chris thinks that Kate is angry as it is the 'time of the month' but Sheila tells Kyle and Chris to show some sensitivity towards Kate.

No 26 - Kate's Bedroom: Mason asks Kate out for dinner that evening. She declines, explaining that she wants to stay in before school starts the next day. He offers to pick up pizzas and DVDs, but becomes worried when she makes it clear she would rather stay in on her own. Mason asks if he has done anything wrong, because he doesn't know if he has, but she reassures him she is just tired.

No 32 - Kitchen: Lauren and Matt return from shopping. As they unpack, Lauren shares her opinion that Vanessa is pregnant. Matt says that is great, but sees the disappointed expression of Lauren. Lauren says she is happy, but Matt realises that Lauren wishes it was her. Matt explains that they would be trying, but with everything going on it is difficult. Lauren points out how close Paul and Lucas are to signing off on the house. Matt tells her not to worry yet as nothing is certain. Lauren tells Matt that a pregnancy in her face is the last thing she needs and adds reasons as to why she thinks Vanessa is pregnant. At that moment, Mason returns, unseen, and overhears Lauren discussing the pregnancy. A shocked look crosses his face as he jumps to the conclusion that Matt and Lauren are discussing Kate, especially as he overhears Kate calling to see if Mason is there. When Lauren hangs up, she continues discussing the pregnancy. Mason, alarmed, leaves.

Charlie's: During the gig, Karl introduces Georgia's new song. she wants to leave it until the next set, but he encourages her to sing it anyway. Kyle watches fondly from the audience. Kate arrives and sits with Kyle, Chris and Hudson. Kate tells Kyle she couldn't miss Georgia's debut and that she knew Georgia would be awesome. Chris asks Kyle if he is hiding something, such as if he and Georgia are ready to settle down and have Children. Kate becomes emotional as she watched Georgia sing directly at Kyle and she gets up to leave. Kyle catches up, and asks Kate what is wrong. Kate asks Kyle to apologise to Georgia but she tells him she cannot be there. Chris and Kyle tell her they will be there for her. Kate says she will explain what the problem is outside: Chris and Kyle leave Hudson and follow her out.

Harold's Store: Kyle asks what ovarian failure is. Kate explains, and says there is nothing they can do. Chris asks how Mason feels about it all, but Kate confesses that he doesn't yet know. Kyle suggests that, although Mason is young, Kate should give him the benefit of the doubt and trust him with the news. Chris agrees.

No 26 - Lounge: Sheila leaves another message for Lyn, as Mason enters. He is looking pale and worried, but just then Kate arrives home. Sheila goes off to email Lyn. Mason tells Kate she looks great and is pleases she went out for a while. He reassures Kate he will stick by her and the baby. Kate looks shocked and tells Mason to stop.

No 26 - Kate's Bedroom: Sitting on the bed Kate has revealed her medical diagnosis to Mason. Mason apologises that he overheard Lauren talking about babies on the phone. Mason is determined to stick by Kate and he says a small chance of having children is good enough for him. Mason admits the timing of Kate being pregnant now would not have been great when Kate asks him, but she snaps back it would be better now than never. Mason tells a devastated Kate that she will get through this.

Outside Grease Monkeys: Walking arm in arm, Kyle tells Georgia she was fantastic and both he and the crowd loved the gig. Georgia asks if it was over the top, but Kyle explains he feels the same about her, but just can't express himself through song. He apologises for following Kate out, but Georgia tells him not to worry as she would have done the same. she remarks how much of a good friend he has been to Kate.

Fitzgerald Motors: Lucas and Vanessa arrive pushing Patrick along in his pram. Vanessa wonders whether they will adjust to another baby, but Lucas says its a bit late to worry about that now! Sitting down at his desk, Lucas says that if they sell to Paul they can afford it and everything will be fine. Vanessa points out the low offer, but Lucas explains by doing a private sale, they will save on the agents' fees. Lucas explains they might not have a choice anyway. They head off to break the news to the Turners.

No 32 - Kitchen: Matt tells Lucas not to worry. Lucas is apologetic, but Lauren explains they are grateful to have been able to stay so long and that Lucas and Vanessa need to do what's right for themselves. Lucas and Vanessa get up to leave, but Lauren tells them not to hurry off because she has a bottle of wine in the fridge, unless someone in the room isn't drinking. Vanessa comes clean and says that Lauren is correct and they hug. the four celebrate, but Lauren looks disappointed all the same.

No 26 - Kitchen: Mason is busy preparing breakfast on a tray and Chris asks if it is for Kate. Mason sarcastically replies he is not making breakfast in bed for Sheila. Chris asks how Kate is, but Mason wonders why Chris wants to know. Hudson comes into the kitchen and tells a confused Mason to look after himself too. When Hudson explains an aunt and uncle went through similar issues, Mason realises they already knew about Kate. Chris tries to fake ignorance, but Mason is not fooled.

No 26 - Kate's Bedroom: Mason carries in Kate's breakfast and asks how long she has known. Kate explains it is hard to talk about, but Mason wonders why she could talk about it to everyone else! Kate tells Mason she didn't know if Mason would be able to handle the news and he becomes angry that he was kept in the dark. Kate tells Mason she needed time to think and, leaving, Mason tells her to take all the time she needs.
