the "I owe you" still stood. Lucas explains that he went to the garage to sleep, but the man arrived and gave him money after "catching up" with Robbo. Admitting that he didn't say anything because he didn't want to worry Vanessa,
Lucas tells the detective that he doesn't know anything else.
Harold's Store: Georgia and Kyle are having a coffee whilst Georgia is trying to work out why Lucas didn't say anything about what happened.

Toadie and Josie tease Callum about selecting the wrong coloured key in the game they are playing. from the kitchen, Sonya announces she is thinking of preparing vegetable moussaka for dinner. No 30: Sonya and Toadie have heard from Georgia that Lucas is at the station: they cannot believe why Lucas didn't tell them what was going on.
Erinsborough Police Station: The questioning continues, Lucas shifting uncomfortably as he is asked whether Toadie really is a friend of his.

Erinsborough Police Station: Lucas is told to turn his phone off when it rings in the interview room. The detective asks if Lucas and Toadie are in
it together. Lucas denies that is the case and is told he can go. Before he does, he is warned that he should not make any travel plans and that the garage will need to be searched.
No 30: Sonya is worried, and tells Georgia and Toadie that Lucas is not answering his phone.
Lucas and Vanessa's Apartment: Vanessa is in full wedding planning mode when Lucas arrives back at the apartment. She sees that Lucas is worried
and Lucas says he wants to remember the moment before Vanessa hates him. Concerned, Vanessa gets up from the floor and tells Lucas he is scaring her. Lucas worriedly explains to Vanessa that he has something to tell her.
Lucas and Vanessa's Apartment: A little later, Vanessa asks Lucas how long he has been gambling; Lucas says a few weeks and that he has lost several
thousand. He tries to justify the gambling by explaining that they needed the money to cover hospital bills, but Vanessa snaps back that he cannot blame her for the gambling. Lucas quickly replies that he isn't, but that he just wanted
to save stressing Vanessa. Vanessa yells that it didn't work, because she is stressed and that she wants him out of her sight. Reluctantly, Lucas heads to the front door. As he opens it, Sonya walks in asking Lucas if what she heard is
true. Lucas apologises and walks out, leaving Vanessa to cry in Sonya's arms.

deal is with Josie, but Callum can only reply that he wished he knew.

but Toadie is unforgiving and points him towards the door.

Vanessa is asleep. Sonya highlights how devastated Vanessa is and asks Lucas what happened for him to gamble again. Lucas sadly says he thought he could do it once and walk away, but Sonya says that they had spoken about it and knew
that it isn't possible to do that as an addict. Sonya sadly says that she can forgive the gambling, but that she can't forgive Lucas letting Toadie believe. He was guilty of running down Robbo. She marches out of the apartment, adding
that she doesn't know if she can ever forgive Lucas for what he has done. After Sonya has gone, Lucas breaks down in tears.
Charlie's: Paul is behind the bar when Mason comes in. Paul tells him to keep his voice down when he asks about the man Paul hired to take care of
Robbo, and directs him towards a table away from everyone else. Mason asks Paul if there was anything to do with illegal card games, because the man seen there could have been the same man hired by Paul. Paul reminds Mason that the
whole mess started with him, because he wanted his sister's ex-boyfriend dealt with. Paul confesses he asked Marty to teach Robbo a lesson, and that if the police catch him, he might say that he was following orders, therefore
