• Paige confronting Ethan about his unexpected arrival in Erinsborough
• Kyle telling Georgia that he doesn't want to set a date for the wedding after she lied about money he was receiving for work

The Waterhole: Georgia is telling Naomi about Kyle's decision and wonders if that means he doesn't want to get married. Naomi absently replies that Kyle will sort it out, leading Georgia to ask if Naomi was actually listening and whether she should just have been honest from the start with Kyle. Naomi reassures Georgia that Kyle has a bruised ego and that she hasn't ruined everything, but Georgia can't believe she made such a big mistake. Naomi tells Georgia that men sometimes take a while to figure out how good they've got it, or how good things could be and that Kyle worships her and isn't going to call off the wedding. Naomi urges Georgia not to contact Kyle, pointing out that he needs space and says that things will be better in the morning.

No 30: A flustered Sonya thanks Brennan for coming over, as she has a nightlight that isn't working and would like him to fix it. Brennan tells Sonya not to stress and to let him know if there is anything else he can do whilst he is there. Sonya thanks Brennan again, adding that he should be out having fun and reminds Brennan of the barbecue idea that he had mentioned previously. With the nightlight fixed after only needing to be switched on, Brennan points out how tired and stressed Sonya is. Sonya brings the conversation back to the barbecue, suggesting that Brennan uses the occasion to welcome Paige to the street. Sonya tells Brennan that the barbecue could be a new start, and when he agrees, says that he will need to get organised.

No 24: Ethan is reading a magazine in the lounge room when Brennan arrives home. Ethan introduces himself as Paige's friend, and explains that she said he could make himself at home. Brennan notices Ethan's feet on the coffee table and replies with a curt "mission accomplished" before asking where Paige is. Ethan replies that she is at the shops, and Brennan explains the barbecue idea as a welcome to Paige. Ethan agrees: just then, Paige returns and says she hopes Brennan doesn't mind about Ethan staying for the night. Brennan agrees and tells Paige that he is throwing her a housewarming party. Paige replies that Brennan doesn't need to do that because she doesn't want him to go to any trouble, but Brennan retorts that it is no trouble at all. As he heads off to clean the barbecue, Paige rounds on Ethan, asking how the barbecue could possibly be a good idea. Ethan urges Paige to chill, and offers to hide behind the couch if Brad arrives, in case he is recognised from Adelaide. Paige panics about Ethan being so close to Brad, but he explains he wants to be there to support Paige. She tells him she is not ready to tell Brad yet about herself and Ethan promises to stick to the story that he is a friend from Tasmania. He also offers to help her get to know her family; Paige responds that if he notices a vibe between Amber and Daniel, he should let her know.

Ramsay Street: Georgia spots Kyle, who is getting into his truck, across the street and heads over, asking for a chat, although Kyle explains that he can't. Georgia wonders if Kyle is feeling better about things, and when Kyle replies that he isn't, she wonders if it is payback. Kyle wonders what for and Georgia replies with the time it took her to forgive Kyle over his fling with Kate. Kyle denies it but says that Georgia lied and he does feel hurt over what she did. He drives off, leaving Georgia standing on the drive.

No 30: Toadie gets up after a night out with Stonie to find Sonya preparing breakfast. She explains she is in a good mood because she slept well and that life is generally good. Toadie is pleased that things are working out, because he'd like them to take Nell on a day out to a sanctuary, although Sonya replies that she thought Toadie would want to take things easy after a big night out and so instead, offered to help Brennan with the organisation of the barbecue. Toadie is disappointed, but tells Sonya that he is ok with things and she hands him his breakfast before heading off for a shower.

No 24: Brennan is worrying to Sonya that he has forgotten something, but Sonya reassures him that he hasn't and that she is impressed he is still going through with the idea. Brennan explains that Ethan is part of the reason why and fills Sonya in on who Ethan is. Ethan comes in and jokes with Brennan about the glassware, suggesting that plastic cups would be better, much to Brennan's horror. Sonya introduces herself to Ethan and immediately there is a knock at the door as Naomi arrives. Naomi enquires after Toadie and Sonya explains that he is on babysitting duty and is catching up on work. Naomi looks pleased as Sonya takes Naomi's bottle of wine.

No 24: A little later, the house full of party guests and Naomi heads off carrying a plate of food. Meanwhile, Daniel arrives and notices Amber and Josh sitting together on the sofa. Paige is thrilled to see Daniel, noticing the glance passing between him and Amber. Daniel tells Paige he wanted to see the house as his mum used to live there and had the best years of her life there. Paige hands Daniel a drink and asks if he has any tips for a newcomer. He jokes that Paige shouldn't camp by the lake: Amber is watching the exchange jealously from the sofa. Paige asks if Daniel has for close to anyone in particular and he replies that he hasn't, as everyone seems very friendly. Meanwhile, Sonya goes over to Brennan and points out that they are at a party and that he should step away from the glasses and go and mingle. Sonya reminds Brennan he should be relaxing and getting to know his neighbours and that currently he isn't: Brennan reluctantly agrees and heads over to get himself a drink from the fridge.

No 30: Toadie lets Naomi in: she has brought him round a plate of food from the party. Toadie thanks her and he asks how the party is and whether Sonya is having a nice time. Naomi explains that Sonya is being a good friend but that Brennan isn't comfortable in a crowd. Toadie explains that Sonya coerced Brennan into the barbecue and Naomi agrees that it now makes sense. Naomi goes on to ask Toadie if he is alright: Toadie replies that he has a lot of work to do and is avoiding it, but Naomi says that she meant between him and Sonya. Toadie explains that the work-life balance can be rough, especially if Nell or he hasn't slept but that they are working through things. Toadie urges Naomi to go back to the party, although she is reluctant and says she is not in the mood. Toadie wonders why that is, asking if her stalker has done something, and Naomi replies that she is still a little spooked but is looking for some quiet company and would be more than happy to stay and help Toadie get through the work.

Ramsay Street: Chris runs up to Kyle, apologising for being late, and they set off to the party. They spot Bailey and ask if he is going, but he declines saying he has to go to work. Continuing to Number 24, Chris tells Kyle it is better going to a party than sitting feeling sorry for himself and when Kyle's phone rings demands that if it is Georgia calling, Kyle should answer it. It is an unknown number, however, and tells Chris to head in whilst he answers the phone. Meanwhile, Brennan has come outside to get some air.

No 24: Kyle heads over to Chris and explains that the furniture company called him and doubled their order of beds. Chris points out it was thanks to Georgia. Kyle wonders what Chris' point is: Chris responds that Georgia lied to boost Kyle's confidence and get his business back on track. Chris sarcastically says how awful Georgia is and, realising his mistake, Kyle says he understands what Chris is saying. Meanwhile, Paige tells Ethan he should be doing less mingling and more helping, particularly as they are out of ice. Imogen heads over, explaining there is ice at Number 22: Ethan offers to go to the shops, but Imogen says it is fine and leads Ethan next door, leaving Paige looking worried.

No 22: Imogen is questioning Ethan about his 'gap year', and his financial situation. Ethan says he is the man to spend the money from his parents and is planning a trip to Bordeaux after Erinsborough as he has family friends there as well as a villa. Ethan suggests Imogen go with him, but she declines, pointing out she has her VCE. Imogen goes on to ask how he and Paige became friends, as he seems very laid back compared to Paige being very prickly. Ethan says that Paige isn't, once you get to know her and points out that Imogen could also be described as prickly. He urges Imogen to give Paige another chance, but sick of talking about Paige, Imogen leans over and kisses Ethan. noticing Brad's portrait hanging up, Ethan worries that they are being watched, but Imogen replies that her parents won't be home for hours.

No 24: Georgia arrives and sees Kyle. Heading over, she apologises, saying she didn't know Kyle was going to be there. Kyle admits he was stupid not to accept Georgia's offer of paid work and Georgia responds that she was stupid to lie to him. Kyle fills Georgia in on the furniture company's offer and he jokingly checks that she didn't have anything to do with the offer. Georgia explains that she didn't and the two happily kiss before running off to the bedroom. Meanwhile, Daniel gets himself a drink and, noticing this, Amber gets up from her seat with Josh to also get a drink. Daniel sees Paige looking out of the window, but she denies she is waiting for anybody and changes the subject, asking Daniel where his clothes are from. He explains they are from op shops, and that he cuts them and sews them. Paige is surprised, but Daniel explains his grandmother, who used to live there, taught him. Paige takes Daniel on a tour, suggesting they start with her bedroom, much to Amber's disgust and annoyance. She heads back over to Josh, asking if they can go home because she is not feeling well. Josh asks what is wrong and Amber replies that she feels a bit sick, having overdone the snacks. Josh agrees, and they head off, neither noticing Amber's bag has been left on the sofa.

Harold's Store: Bailey is cleaning tables when Amber and Josh arrive, Amber explaining that she thought a walk would make her feel a bit better. Josh suggests a peppermint tea, but Amber realises she has left her bag at home and, although Josh offers to pay and Bailey says a tea on the house will be fine, she heads off home, telling them she will get her bag on the way. As Amber leaves, Bailey points out that she was being weird. Josh agrees and wonders of he should go after her. Bailey tells him that Amber will be alright and asks Josh if he can help him set up a training programme. Josh agrees. Meanwhile, Toadie is looking at his phone when Naomi heads over, asking if everything is alright. He says that it is, but is surprised he hasn't yet heard from Sonya. Naomi says she must be partying hard, but realising what she said, explains she didn't mean anything. She goes on to wonder if Toadie ever worries that Sonya may relapse. Toadie explains that he does, although they laugh at how busy Sonya keeps herself. Naomi asks if Toadie should suggest Sonya head off on a break, such as to a retreat or to visit friends. She points out that Sonya might get some clarity and it would help their relationship. Naomi tells Toadie she shouldn't have said that, and when Toadie again says their relationship has not been the same lately, Naomi explains some distance might give them both some perspective on things.

No 24: Imogen and Ethan return to the party. Paige sarcastically wonders if they got lost, before pulling Ethan aside for a word. Paige asks Ethan what he is doing and Ethan replies that he thinks that he is in love. Paige looks horrified; Ethan replies that he is kidding, but that Imogen is awesome. Paige warns Ethan to end whatever has started as everything could be ruined. Ethan tells Paige to calm down. Meanwhile, Georgia makes a speech, thanking Brennan for the party and welcoming Paige to the street. Kyle and Georgia announce that everyone needs to keep the first week of October free as that is when they are going to get married!

No 24: A little later, Daniel and Paige are clearing up from the party. Paige thanks Daniel for his help and when Daniel says he is happy to help, Paige asks if he was just trying to distract himself. Paige asks if Daniel is going to tell her what is really going on, but just then Amber arrives to collect her bag. Noticing Amber, Paige asks Daniel if he wants a real distraction and begins kissing him. Amber watches shocked from the front door before leaving.
