Channel Eleven: 08/07/14, Channel 5: 22/07/14

Recap
• Paige finding Lauren's teddy bear, which Lauren had kept since Paige was a baby; it had accidentally been thrown out with the rubbish from Number 32
• Naomi discovering that Sonya had left for a few days and that Toadie was home alone
• Naomi and Toadie wrestling and then Naomi kissing Toadie

No 30: Sonya is calling Toadie on his phone, Naomi getting up as Toadie says he needs to answer the phone. Toadie asks how things are going with Sonya, and explains he has been doing some ironing and is pretty bored. Naomi watches on from the lounge room.

No 26: Sheila is in the kitchen emptying rubbish into the bin. She discovers a receipt in it, whilst Brennan, Kyle and Chris are in the lounge getting ready to go out. Brennan suggests inviting Paige, but both Chris and Kyle disagree, pointing out how badly Paige treats customers at Harold's. As they go to leave, Sheila calls Kyle over and tells him to keep the receipt safe in case he needs to exchange anything. Chris replies that the receipt isn't his, as he wouldn't spend so much on bras and underwear and that it must be Naomi's. Sheila goes to take it to Naomi, but Kyle stops her, explaining that Naomi is at Toadie's. Sheila comments that its nice of Naomi to babysit, but Kyle says that Sonya and Nell are away for a few days as there has been tension between Sonya and Toadie. Kyle leaves, Sheila looking anxiously at the receipt.

No 30: Toadie is finishing his conversation on the phone; as he does so, Naomi asks if Sonya has settled in to the retreat. Toadie ignores the question, asking what 'that' was. Naomi apologises for rushing things, but hastily adds that it doesn't mean what happened was wrong. Just then, Sheila knocks on the door and when neither answer it, she lets herself in. Sheila blurts out that there has been an emergency as one of Naomi's blouses got caught in the washer's spin cycle. Naomi wonders why Sheila doesn't just untangle it: Sheila replies if she pulls it out, the blouse will get ripped. Sheila heads off, urging Naomi to follow. Toadie says that Naomi should go and sort it out and as she goes, tells Toadie they can talk later.

No 32: Lauren and Matt are searching frantically for the bear, Matt explaining he checked both the bins and the hard rubbish and it was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, Paige comes in, carrying some paperwork for Lauren and Matt heads off to hut for the bear outside. Lauren invites Paige to stay for a cup of tea, although she declines, saying she has stuff to do whilst Brennan is out of the house. Lauren wonders how often they get the chance to have a proper chat and persuades Paige to stay, promising not to talk about work.

No 26: Naomi angrily storms over to Sheila, pointing out there is nothing in the washing machine and wondering why she has been dragged home. Sheila hands Naomi her receipt, who wonders what the big deal is about buying some lingerie. She asks if Sheila has an issue with it because she should be saving money, but Sheila replies that it is because Naomi is buying things from the same store as when she was seeing Charles. Naomi asks who would remember that and Sheila curtly replies that she does and demands to know what Naomi has done. Naomi says she went to Toadie as a friend, although Sheila thinks it's because she went there to seduce Toadie. She adds that Naomi is probably wearing her new lingerie at that moment and when Naomi denies it, Sheila orders her to prove it, much to Naomi's irritation. Naomi refuses to show Sheila whether she is wearing it or not and storms out, sarcastically thanking Sheila for believing in her.

No 32: Lauren is having difficulty with a current piece of artwork and, Paige offers to have a look to see if she can help. She explains that she does a little drawing herself, but when Lauren asks to see some, she declines, suggesting another time instead. Lauren explains the theme is love and family and that she wants to include all her children, including Lily, but that she doesn't know what to draw as she has no idea what she looks like. Lauren adds that means she could draw her any way she wants, but that it wouldn't be right as she doesn't know what Lily is like on the inside. Paige wonders why Lauren doesn't leave her out, but Lauren explains she could never do that to any of her children as Lily will always be a part of her. Paige hands an upset Lauren a tissue, touching the bears in her bag as she reaches for them. She then asks if Lauren has a way of remembering Lily, but doesn't get a chance to explain what; Matt brings the phone to Lauren saying that Mason is on the other end. Lauren asks Paige if she minds her taking the call as she has tries to get hold of Mason all week.

No 30: Toadie is telling Karl that the kiss came from nowhere, but Karl can't believe it, asking if anything had happened that may have given Naomi the wrong idea. Toadie says nothing out of the usual happened and that the time they had spent together previously was always platonic and usually at work. Karl looks on as Toadie admits they met up for lunch a few times and that that he helped Naomi out on singles night. Toadie adds he now needs to tell Sonya about the kiss. Karl acknowledges that he does, but that he has to understand where the kiss came from.

No 26: Sheila lets Toadie in, although Sheila explains Naomi is not there as they had words. She asks what Naomi has done, but manages to guess correctly. Sheila says she tried to warn Sonya and Toadie about it after everything that happened with the oranges, but that they wouldn't listen. Toadie wonders if Naomi was building up to this the whole time but Sheila replies it was probably long before that. Toadie replies that Naomi knew he loved Sonya; Sheila retorts that it has never stopped Naomi before and that she has been turning up at all the right times and places recently. Sheila asks if Naomi knew Sonya was going to be away that evening. Toadie replies that it was Naomi's idea. After confirming that Naomi headed over to Number 30 immediately after Sonya was gone, Sheila says that Naomi really is a piece of work.

No 30: Toadie is filling Karl in on what Sheila said, explaining that he was too dumb to see what was happening with Naomi. Karl replies that Toadie looks for the best in people, but that it may be possible he encouraged Naomi's feelings without meaning to. Toadie explains that, through difficult times with Sonya, Naomi has always been someone to have fun with; Karl tells Toadie that Naomi took advantage. Toadie is annoyed that not only did he get sucked in by Naomi, he also led her on without even knowing it.

No 24: Brennan returns home and Paige, who is sitting on the sofa, quickly stuffs the two toy bears under the cushions. Brennan says he should have stayed in, as the nightclub was too dark, loud and crowded. Paige brings the conversation round to mementoes and asks Brennan if he ever keeps things like that. Brennan wonders if Paige means Kate's things. He explains he has a few pieces and Paige asks if he would ever get rid of anything like that. Brennan replies that he would never get rid of the ring, Paige wondering if it means that by getting rid of things it shows he wouldn't care anymore. Brennan explains that some people don't want to hold onto things that remind them of someone that they have lost. Brennan asks what Paige has been drawing, but she doesn't answer. Brennan asks if they should get rid of the old lilies in the kitchen. Paige asks what he thinks of the name Lily, and Brennan replies that it is ok, although she can't give a reason for asking the question. Brennan heads off as Paige continues her sketch: it is of her, Lauren and Brad.

No 26: Sheila is looking out of the window when Naomi arrives home. Naomi drops her bag on the sofa and walks into the kitchen. Sheila angrily follows, pointing out Naomi kissed Toadie and then lied to her about it. Naomi replies that Sheila wouldn't understand and Sheila replies Naomi is correct because Sonya and Toadie have been good to Naomi. Sheila wonders if Naomi learnt anything in her relationship with Charles: Naomi replies it is different, but Sheila points out Naomi is still trying to break up a marriage. Naomi retorts that she doesn't have to as Sonya is doing a good job at that herself. Sheila wonders of that is how Naomi is justifying her actions and Naomi replies that Sonya is an addict and not a saint. Sheila corrects Naomi, saying Sonya is a recovering addict and that it is nothing to do with Naomi and neither are Sonya's interests. Naomi says that Sonya doesn't care about Toadie and that they are not happy together, especially now that Callum has gone. She adds that Callum was probably the only reason that Sonya and Toadie were staying together. Sheila tells Naomi she is being ridiculous, but Naomi is insistent, saying she is fed up with Sonya standing Toadie up all the time and not letting him be himself. She adds that they both felt something during the kiss, but Sheila explains that Toadie won't leave Sonya for her. Just then, Toadie texts Naomi, messaging that he is ready to talk about things. Naomi heads off, telling Sheila that this time, they are going to manage without any interruptions.

No 30: Naomi sits down with Toadie, wondering if he is feeling. Guilty, but Toadie replies that he doesn't, because Naomi shouldn't have kissed him. Naomi wonders why; Toadie replies that what Naomi did was way out of line and that he is sorry for what he said to her in the past, but that he only meant things as a friend. Naomi insists that Sonya is not right for Toadie, but he replies that Sonya is his wife and hat he loves her and will spend the rest of his life with her. Toadie says that Sonya is in his heart, and that if he knew how Naomi felt, he would have set her straight. Naomi points out that you don't kiss someone if you don't mean it. Toadie retorts that Naomi kissed him and even if Sonya hadn't rang, the outcome would have been the same. Toadie tells Naomi they need to keep their distance, including at work, and that she is therefore fired. Although Naomi is surprised, she leaves, Toadie opening the door for her.

No 26: Kyle and Chris arrive home to find Sheila angrily banging around pots and pans in the kitchen. Kyle asks what she is doing, but just then Naomi bursts in, storming upset to her bedroom. Sheila runs after her, leaving Kyle and Chris looking confused.

Ramsay Street: Kyle and Chris return home after a jog, but neither are keen to return home, suggesting the gym and a walk with Bossy instead. Brennan notices, and asks if they are after more punishment. Kyle replies that Naomi and Sheila are at it again, and Brennan adds that something is going on with Paige too. Brennan urges Kyle and Chris to take it easy on Paige as she is more sensitive than she appears. Chris jokingly responds that it wouldn't be too difficult. Brennan replies that he is serious and that Paige is just like a child that needs a hug, but that she doesn't let anyone near enough to be able to do so. On the other side of the street, Toadie tells Karl that he can't phone Sonya to explain what happened and Karl agrees, although says Toadie has to be completely honest with her. Toadie is frightened, because the break was supposed to bring them closer together and now he doesn't know what will happen when she returns.

No 26: In the back garden, Kyle asks Sheila what is going on between her and Naomi. Sheila says she knows Kyle means well, but that it is best he stays out of it. Kyle points out they all live together and offers to talk to Naomi, although Sheila retorts that Naomi won't listen because she never does. Kyle says Sheila has been like a mum to him and that he hates seeing her like this. He adds that there must be something that he can do. Sheila tells Kyle he is a good kid, but with the wedding coming up, he has enough on his plate and doesn't need to worry about things. Kyle reluctantly says ok, before heading off with Bossy.

No 26: A little later, Sheila is in the kitchen when Naomi comes in, telling her that she has ruined her life again. Naomi asks if Sheila is happy, but Sheila replies that Naomi did it to herself. Sheila warns Naomi that she will keep doing it until she realise how her actions affect other people. Naomi points out she didn't stick her nose in and Sheila retorts that Naomi would say that because she is so self obsessed. Naomi says that at least she has a life and that if her dad was there, he would be rolling in his grave, seeing how bitter Sheila had become, with no friends and working in a bar. Sheila angrily tells Naomi not to dare talk about her father, but Naomi wonders why as at least he wanted the best for her and didn't ruin things all the time. Sheila tells Naomi she doesn't know what she is saying: Naomi replies that she wishes he was still alive. Sheila angrily rounds on Naomi, telling her it's Naomi's fault that he is dead. She goes on to say that the night he found out about Naomi's affair with Charles he had a heart attack, therefore Naomi killed her father.
