• Josh catches Daniel and Amber kissing
• Daniel tells Josh they didn’t mean for him to find out that way, it just happened

• Chris and Susan realise the book is set in Ramsay Street and so the author must be from there too

Ramsay Street: Susan sees Toadie whilst she is collecting her paper and waves to Brennan who is just leaving for a run.
Toadie and Susan start discussing who the author of the book could be. Toadie thinks the author is a woman but won’t tell Susan why. They are both keeping their thoughts to themselves on who the author could be and decide to
have a bet on who will find out first. If Susan wins Toadie will wash and polish her car, if Toadie wins Susan has to babysit Nell overnight. They shake on it and the race is on to find out who the author is!
Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Karl and Paul are discussing Paul’s state of mind. Karl is concerned over Paul’s symptoms.
He has a lack of interest over things and doesn’t have any positive feelings, etc. Karl needs to understand in more detail where Paul is so asks him to write down his feelings. Then they will know what they are dealing
with and can treat him properly. Paul isn’t comfortable doing this but Karl reminds him that he came to him for help. Karl will pop by later to go over it with Paul and he reluctantly agrees.
 
No 30 - Lounge Room: Georgia is playing her guitar whilst Toadie is tidying up. He starts asking her about her teen romance novels she was in to when she
was younger and Georgia soon realises he thinks that she is the mysterious author E.M. Williams. Georgia can’t believe he thinks that as she hadn’t heard of half of the things in the book until she read it. She can’t wait to tell Kyle
that Toadie thinks it's her.
Darkroom: Daniel is setting the darkroom back up after Josh trashed it. Terese arrives and tells Daniel she thought he wasn’t in today.
Daniel starts to talk to her but Terese cuts him off and leaves.
 
Lassiter's Hotel - Reception: Susan bumps into Terese and immediately asks her if she is E.M. Williams. Terese says she hasn’t even read the story,
but then admits she may have skimmed through it. She honestly has nothing to do with it though. Terese suggests asking Amber or Daniel as it’s the kind of thing you would cook up if you were pining for someone in secret.
Susan agrees but then says neither Daniel nor Amber are writers. They are interrupted by Karl and Terese leaves. Karl and Susan start discussing the book and leave the reception area. Susan thinks Naomi might have written
the book about Toadie as a fantasy. Karl tells her to stop digging so she agrees to tell Toadie the bet is off.
Lassiter's Complex: Brennan runs past and sees Amber sitting alone, looking sad. She thinks she doesn’t deserve to be happy but Brennan reassures
her and tells her people make mistakes. He runs off as she receives a text from Daniel asking her to meet him at Harold’s as he misses her.
Harold's Store: Amber comes to meet Daniel; he has been worried about her. She thinks they need to be more discreet as it feels wrong to show everyone
they are together. AS he is comforting her Terese walks in and gives them a dirty look. Daniel explains they can’t change what has happened. Daniel says he spoke to his mum about them last night and she is looking forward to meeting Amber;
they can go up there for a week. Amber doesn’t think Daniel understands what she is going through and walks off.
 
No 30 - Lounge Room: : Toadie is discussing the book with Sonya. She thinks the person who wrote it must be in a relationship as they would need an outlet
for their imagination. They start talking about how sexy the book was whilst Nell looks at them. They decide to put Nell down for a nap so they can have some alone time…
Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Terese comes to see how Paul is and she has news from the council. She wanted him to hear it from her rather than on the grapevine
that in his absence, Paul has been replaced by Sue Parker as interim Mayor. He stops writing his feelings down and pushes it away looking upset.
No 30: Susan knocks at the door and Toadie answers, half-dressed. He tells her it’s not a good time but she carries on trying to call off the bet.
Toadie thinks its Susan but she says they need to drop it. Sonya shouts that she is getting pins and needles in her hands and Susan realises what they were doing and that she is interrupting. She leaves as Toadie says the bet still stands
and shuts the door to get back to Sonya.
Harold's Store: Amber goes to take Terese’s order. Terese asks for a menu and then Amber asks if Josh is ok as she has been worried about him.
Terese says she should ask him herself unless she doesn’t have the courage to face him. Terese gives Amber a piece of her mind and tells her that Imogen is not her friend anymore after she lied and cheated on Josh. Terese tells Amber
that what she did was unforgivable. Amber walks away trying not to cry.
Lassiter's Lake: Amber is sat by the lake crying when Daniel finds her and asks her what happened. Amber cries that she has lost her best friend,
Josh hates her and Terese isn’t her biggest fan either. Daniel thinks things will settle down. Amber can’t forget what they did and starts saying they are going to be unhappy together. Daniel takes her off as he wants to show her something.
 
Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Paul is reading out what he has written about how he is feeling to Karl. Karl says it isn’t unusual to feel these
things and there are plenty of treatment plans and medication to help but Paul doesn’t want to take any pills. Karl doesn’t want him to rule out medication and Paul asks how long he would need to be on the pills. Karl wants Paul to consider
a referral to a psychologist but Paul is worried about what would happen if word got out about this. He tears up what he has written and makes Karl give his word that he won’t tell anyone else.
Darkroom: Daniel and Amber walk in as he is telling her it isn’t back to how it was exactly but then he is upset to discover it has been turned into a
cleaning cupboard. He calls his friend and they confirm that Terese told the staff of the hotel that they didn’t need it anymore. Amber is upset but Daniel reassures her. Amber tells Daniel that they have hurt people and she walks off upset.
Lassiter's Complex: Karl meets Susan on the bench. They talk about their days and start to talk about the book again.
Susan still thinks it was Naomi that wrote the book so she heads off to confront her.
Lassiter's Lake: Daniel finds Amber sitting on a bench and tells her he knows how hard it is. He doesn’t think they’ve ruined their relationship and
asks Amber to closer her eyes and imagine they are in their darkroom. He tells her nothing will change how they feel about each other or how right it is for them to be together. She tells him she loves him and he says the same then they kiss.
No 24: Susan has come to speak to Naomi when Brennan answers the door. Naomi isn’t at home so Susan starts questioning him about Naomi and whether she
writes. Susan explains her theory but Brennan says he doesn’t think it’s her. As she is leaving Brennan tells her she would be a bad detective… someone came to his house recently and made a note of the feature walls and took some pictures.
He is smirking whilst he tells her this. He has known who the author was all along!
 
Bench: Susan is standing by a bench at night time with only a street light shining down on her. The author approaches…
we see a shadow and she laughs and says “I suppose you think you’re so clever, E.M.Williams”.
