Erinsborough Hospital: A little later, Amber asks the Turners how they couldn't know Kathy was sick for all that time. Lauren replies that Kathy is proud, and so probably didn't want to admit she was unwell. Bailey thinks she couldn't have admitted to it because Lauren wasn't talking to her. Matt says they won't know anything until they can speak to Kathy themselves. Just then, Kathy is wheeled past on a trolley and Karl explains to the Turners that the operation went well and that Kathy should make a full recovery. Lauren, Amber and Bailey follow Kathy as Karl says they can see her but that they will need to wait until she wakes up from sedation. Karl pulls Matt to one side and says he maybe should sort out the business with Paige. Matt replies that he needs to be with Lauren, but Karl points out that Paige is in the process of discharging herself.

Erinsborough Hospital: Matt enters Paige's room as she is busy filling out the discharge forms. He asks for a word and that he needs a statement, even though she is desperate to get home. Paige asks if it can wait, but Matt replies if Paige is well enough to leave, she should be well enough to talk. He admits, though, that he can wait until the following day. Matt says he wants to ask just one question to put his mind at ease, and goes on to enquire whether Paige previously knew that Kathy had a heart condition. Paige denies that she knew about Kathy's condition, or the fact that she was on medication until that day. Matt asks how it came about: Paige explains that Kathy asked for her pills and she got them for her. He asks where the pills were and Paige replies they were in Kathy's bag. Matt asks how it is possible, because in the search of Paige's bag, the pills were located there instead. Paige lies that she got them out of Kathy's bag, but realised she needed an ambulance instead, so dropped the pills in her own bag when she reached for her phone. Paige goes on to ask how Kathy is. Matt says that Kathy will be fine and adds that Kathy hasn't said anything yet, but that he will be talking with her very soon. he heads off, leaving Paige to still fill in the discharge forms.

Harold's Store: Georgia is telling Susan about how Toadie, Kathy and Paige are doing. Susan is taking a lot of care over Georgia's order and says it is nice to spoil the customers. Naomi calls Georgia over and asks how Toadie is. Georgia reluctantly says she doesn't know, but eventually is forced to admit that Toadie could have some problems with his spine. Naomi comments that it sounds serious and Georgia replies she is hoping that the results will be ready when she returns to the hospital. Naomi says she has wanted to know, but wasn't sure if it was her place: Georgia reassures Naomi it is still ok to care about Toadie as a friend.

Erinsborough Hospital: Karl is telling Sonya and Toadie that the accident didn't damage Toadie's spine or move the bullet, which is good. He does say, however, that the X-ray showed Toadie fractured his coccyx, and that it will remain painful for a while. Sonya asks how they will manage it and Karl explains that painkillers and lack of pressure on it will do the trick. He tells them that he will get Georgia to organise a donut. Toadie is surprised that he will have to eat donuts, but Karl corrects Toadie, explaining that he meant a donut cushion, as it will be all he will be able to sit on. Sonya says she is grateful that Toadie was not injured more severely and Karl urges Toadie to say if the pain is too much and the medication needs to be changed. Karl heads off after Toadie and Sonya have both thanked him and Sonya says how relieved she is and that she should ring Callum to let him know what happened. They laugh that Callum won't let Toadie forget he has a broken bum. At that moment there is a knock on the door and Naomi comes in, bringing a balloon for Toadie, an awkward look passing between them all. Toadie reluctantly thanks Naomi and, when nothing else is said, she backs out of the room, saying she will leave them to it.

Erinsborough Hospital: Lauren heads over to Paige, saying that she heard she is discharging herself. Paige admits she is because she doesn't like hospitals. she asks how Kathy is and Lauren replies that she came through the procedure well and that she can't wait until she wakes up. Lauren adds she is glad Paige is well enough to leave and says she is sure Kathy will want to thank her for earlier. Paige says she wants Lauren to be ok as she is a good person and she deserves to be happy. Lauren replies Paige is a good person but is pulled away by Georgia, who needs information about Kathy for her file. Paige sadly watches her go.

No 24: Paige arrives home and packs her bags, ready to leave, putting some dollars onto the kitchen counter towards the rent. She picks up her belongings and heads out.
