No 22 - Back Garden: Imogen is talking about uni courses whilst Josh is flicking through his memory book of him and Amber. Terese arrives and tells them they’re celebrating Brad’s birthday tonight. They both don’t seem excited about it. Imogen says it will highlight how weird things have been lately but Terese insists things aren’t that strange. Terese ignores what the twins are saying about it and says they will celebrate his birthday tonight and they WILL have a good time. As she walks out Josh asks Imogen whether he thinks they should invite Paige. Imogen makes it clear that Terese won’t be happy with that.

Harold's Store: Paige tells Brad he’s in trouble for not telling her about his birthday. As Paige goes to get an order, Lauren asks Brad if they can do something with Paige as it would mean a lot to her. Brad suggests he could see her after his dinner with Terese. Lauren says obviously his family is invited too and walks off happy. However, Brad looks troubled worried about his family’s reaction.

The Waterhole: Naomi has come to get a bottle of wine from Sheila. Naomi asks whether Sheila will be home soon and when she says she won’t, Naomi tells her it will just be another night at home for her alone. Sheila starts asking Naomi about online dating and tells her she has signed up to Ziva. Naomi is shocked but tells Sheila she should go for it. She asks her to promise her one thing though and jokes that she needs to play it safe as a lot of women Sheila’s age catch STIs nowadays. Sheila says that’s the end of the conversation as Naomi leaves smiling. Sheila gives her a cheeky look as she leaves.

Meanwhile, the Willis family are having dinner and talking about the Amber situation. Josh receives a text from Naomi telling him she has the house to herself. Brad opens his present of pyjamas as Terese asks Sheila to bring over the cake.

Sheila is lighting the candles on the cake whilst asking Paul about his dates on Ziva. She says she has contacted someone who sounds promising but if it goes wrong she is holding Paul responsible. He says if it goes right he can cut her a discount on a hotel room and she walks off flustered.

Brad gets his cake and blows out the candles. He wishes that next year they can have a meal together without bringing their phones to the table. Seriously, though he says he couldn’t wish for more than having his whole family round the table. Josh mutters that it’s not the whole family and then asks if he can go. Brad says it’s ok for him to leave and when Imogen asks to go he says that’s ok too. Brad thanks Terese for organising all this for him. He tells her he is going to the man shed for an extra birthday celebration and asks her to come. Terese doesn’t think she could handle him sitting with his mates trying not to talk about Paige. She apologises as Brad leaves and he tells her he will see her at home later.
