As the Bishop family faced further tragedy, the neighbourhood was rocked to the core by news of baby Kerry...

Harold became worried by Kerry’s low weight and grisliness and as her condition worsened, Sky, Dylan & Stingray took her to the hospital, where the doctors suggested further tests. Meanwhile, Harold admitted to Sky and the Police that he had lied about being carjacked and was surprised when Sky completely understood why he had lied. As Dr. Marley called Sky in to get the results, she and Harold were devastated to learn that the test results suggested that Kerry had leukaemia and needed a bone marrow biopsy to confirm it. After hearing the news, Sky disappeared with Kerry, however after Janelle mentioned that Sky should be with her family at a time like this, Harold soon found Sky at Kerry’s memorial plaque by Lassiter’s Lake. Sky was horrified though as she looked on and saw the name on the plaque change from ‘Kerry Mangel’ to ‘Timmins’. As a devastated Bree heard the news, Zeke offered her a shoulder to cry on, and turned out to be a great support to everyone, drawing on his own experience with Alex, impressing Karl & Susan. As Sky & Dylan revealed the results of the biopsy, Ramsay Street was rocked to the core by the news that Kerry had Acute Lymphocytic Leukaemia.

Paul’s feud with the Timmins’ continued as he made plans for Ned’s next scheme, starting with putting a letter in the Timmins’ letterbox. Meanwhile, Janelle received a free family pass for a day at Calder Park raceway, but as they were out enjoying themselves at the track, Ned was leading a robbery at the Timmins house. Despite nearly being caught by Harold who came around looking for Tazzle, Ned and his accomplices managed to get away with the Timmins family’s most prized possessions, their televisions and their computers. As the Timmins’ returned and were horrified to realise that they’d been robbed, Ned was horrified to learn that the Timmins weren’t insured and that he had stolen the last thing Steiger’s father ever gave him, a model train. Steiger was amazed to realise how lapse Janelle’s home security was, particularly how many keyholders there were, but as the train later appeared on the doorstep, Steiger was stunned and realised that there was a weak link in the chain somewhere. After learning that Paul & Elle had been to the racetrack earlier that week, Allan was convinced that the Robinsons were somehow involved, and rightly so, although conveniently they were in Sydney at the time.

In her own little scheme to get back at the Timmins family, Elle was stunned to realise that there was more than just a kiss to Boyd & Glenn’s affair, whilst Glenn warned Boyd to stop lying and tell Janae the truth, but he realised that would be the end of his marriage. Meanwhile, as Rosetta quit her Lassiter’s traineeship, Paul’s plan to make Lassiter’s look like it was failing took shape and he called an emergency board meeting to break the news to the Timminses. However, after learning that Kerry had leukaemia, Elle had second thoughts, but Paul wasn’t willing to end the scheme. At the board meeting, Stingray saw straight through their lies, but he didn’t have anything to prove it.

Sandy Allen returned and it soon became cleared that she was Lolly’s abuser as she forced Lolly to admit that Pepper had caused the bruises. As Susan rejected Rachel’s story about Pepper & Lolly, Zeke pushed her to use Ringo’s gambling story, but unfortunately he’d deleted it when she rejected it and so they had to try to recreate it, with improvements. At the meeting with the school board despite Susan speaking highly of Pepper, due to the forcible restraining of Lolly, which all parties mentioned, the board had no choice but to dismiss Pepper. Rosetta refused to give up on her friend and vowed to fight for her to be reinstated, however Pepper felt guilty that she wasn’t as good a friend, and admitted to Rosetta that she had been sleeping with Paul behind her back. The following day, Pepper & Rosetta put Paul in his place once and for all; however their friendship took a rather different turn as they kissed.

Finally, Steph got back on her bike following her separation from Max whilst meanwhile offering Susan a solution to Karl’s beard – shave it off whilst he’s sleeping, whilst Toadie was stunned when his escort, Abby called around to number 28 and asked him out, leaving Steph jealously looking on during their date at Scarlet Bar.

Notes: Episode 5155 saw the return of Catherine Hill as Sandy Allen, six years after we first saw her.

Despite correctly crediting Linda Hartley-Clark as Kerry Bishop during all of her voiceover returns, this week saw a mistake on the previously unseen memorial plaque which adopted the name, ‘Mangel’, which Kerry Bishop never used.
