Naomi is appalled when she learns of Paul’s plan to frame Josh for illegal peptide dealing... Imogen declares that the Willis kids shall not visit the Turner house while Brad is there...
Agony aplenty for Terese as Brad crosses the street to live with Lauren... Imogen is furious when she learns Piper has broken the pact to stay away from number 32 and throws Brad’s dry cleaning into the pool...
On Ramsay Street, Imogen storms away from the Turner house, closely followed by Piper – who argues that Imogen and Josh pressured her into agreeing to the pact not to see Brad at number 32, when she didn’t really want to. Imogen tells Piper that they all should be
siding with their mum. “Mum? Who was going to move us all into a hotel until she found out Dad was staying on the street?” is Piper’s reply. Imogen tells her sister that she changed her mind, but Piper says that Terese only did that to make their dad suffer. Brad and
Lauren follow the girls out, but Imogen tersely tells Brad not to get involved. Brad tells Imogen that it’s not fair to take out her anger at him on Piper, but Imogen is unrepentant. To make matters worse, Terese shows up and asks what’s going on. Lauren says to Imogen,
“Maybe if you just give your sister a chance to explain herself…” but Terese interrupts with, “Hey, this is my family! You don’t get to give the orders!” Sheila watches with interest as she brings Bossy home from a walk. Terese tells her daughters to come inside, rather
than airing their dirty laundry in public.
..
Terese, Imogen and Piper enter number 22. Piper reminds Imogen that Brad is still their dad, despite what he’s done. Terese reassures Piper that no-one wants to stop her seeing her dad, but
Imogen points out that she could’ve done it elsewhere. Piper tells Imogen that she wants nothing more to do with the ‘stupid pact’ - and Terese wants to know what she means by that. Imogen explains that the siblings all agreed they wouldn’t go to the Turners while their dad was living
there. Imogen points out to Piper that Brad needs to understand that his actions have repercussions. “I think that was mum’s intention with us staying here,” is Piper’s reply. Terese adds, “Yes, I guess it was. Listen – your father is still a wonderful and loving dad
to you all. I don’t want you punishing him on my behalf. You can all go and see him at Lauren’s whenever you want, I’ll tell Josh too.” Imogen looks on in disbelief.
Sheila enters the garden to find Naomi, who’s back from her trip away. She’s on her laptop, and immediately announces that she needs ‘really big changes’ in her life. Sheila says, “Well, if you’re talking about a trip to the hairdresser’s, may I remind you
of the time you thought a buzz-cut would be a good idea?” Naomi says her mum that she was thirteen and how was she supposed to know she had such a weird-shaped head. She goes on to explain to her mum that she’s serious – her break in Sydney has made her yearn for a new way of
life. She reveals that she’s applied for a PR job with US Wrestling Inc, in Los Angeles. Naomi tells her mum that she would be rubbing shoulders with some of her favourite big-name wrestlers and this is what she’s been working towards. Sheila asks how her non-fiancé Paul
figures into this plan. Naomi tells her mum that she doesn’t know. Sheila says, “Well he’s been asking me every day have I heard from you, and when will you be back...” and Naomi again tells her mum that she doesn’t know.
..
Down at The Waterhole, Tyler is reading a book on how to interview people. Paige turns up and sees the book; Tyler explains that Lucas has asked him to take care of the interviews
for a new assistant at the garage. Paige gently mocks Tyler, evidently surprised that he’s being entrusted with such a task, saying, “Tyler, you might know your way around an engine – but interviewing people? That takes a whole different set of skills.” Paige
starts rambling on about her extensive interviewing skills but it’s obvious she’s hurt Tyler by declaring him incapable, and he snaps and tells her he doesn’t need her advice. Paige wishes him good luck, as he’ll need it, and walks off, laughing, leaving Tyler looking
upset.
At number 32, Lauren tells Brad she’s feeling guilty for piping up in the street before, and more generally for inviting him to move in. She adds that she’s put him in a terrible position, but Brad tells her that he’ll just have to get hunting for a more
permanent place to live. Paige turns up and asks why there’s dry-cleaning floating in the pool; Brad explains the earlier encounter with Imogen. Paige decides that she’s going to make a special dinner tonight to celebrate Brad moving in, but Lauren tells her that he
was just about to go flat-hunting. Paige is disappointed that he’s looking to live elsewhere so soon, but adds that dinner will be ready when he gets home; Paige says to her dad “Have I told you how great it is, you being here?” Brad thanks her but Lauren looks worried.
..
Naomi meets up with Paul at the Lassiter’s Complex, and he's glad that she’s back in town. Naomi begins by telling him that she thought a lot while she was away and a lot of it was how long it had
taken them to get to this point in their relationship. Paul comments that if she hadn’t been so persistent, they might never have ended up together. She tells Paul that, at the start, she watched him fight his illness and was overwhelmed by his dignity and strength.
Paul reminds Naomi that she gave him something to fight for. Naomi brings up the situation with Josh and Paul admits that he went about that the wrong way. Naomi disagrees and states that he went about it the ‘Paul way’ and adds that he lashed out at Josh rather than
facing the pain that she’s caused him, Naomi also states he did the same when Amy initially rejected him. He asks Naomi why has she stuck by him, if he's so contemptible. Naomi explains that she thinks that maybe they’ve come to the end of the road. Paul’s demeanour
shifts instantly - she tells him that they are actually very different people and she has realised that now, adding that they both deserve to be with someone who brings out the best in them. Paul beginning to get annoyed, and tells Naomi not to put all this on to
him and reminds her that when they first got together, his gut told him that they wouldn’t last, so he set her free and encouraged her to get with Mark. Naomi agrees but Paul continues to tell Naomi that she convinced him to take her back, and now she goes and throws
it back in his face! Paul asks Naomi if she thinks she’s better than him. Naomi tells Paul not to do this but Paul isn’t listening and adds that she’s not and proceeds to call Naomi a scared, pathetic little girl who latches onto any man who’ll pay her attention. She
manages other people’s lives because she’s completely clueless about her own and doesn’t know what she wants. Paul states to Naomi that he’s glad to be rid of her and with that he gets up and walks off, leaving Naomi shocked and tearful.
Later, a stressed Tyler is walking through the complex, talking on the phone to Lucas, when he runs into Daniel. Once he’s finished the call, he tells Daniel about how he’s doing the garage interviews alone because Lucas’s kids are ill – and he’s worried it’s going to be
a disaster. Daniel offers to give him some pointers, as he’s interviewed loads of staff for Off Air. Tyler’s grateful, and they head to The Waterhole to discuss it. Meanwhile, Sheila comes to meet Naomi, who is still tearful after her encounter with Paul, and severely
doubting herself. Sheila tells Naomi that whatever Paul said to her, she needs to ignore it. Sheila decides to take Naomi home.
..
Terese enters the Waterhole and sits with Paul. Paul asks why she’s looking ‘so frazzled’, and she asks the question back to him but Paul tells her that he asked first. Terese explains
about her daughters' blow-up over Brad, and admits that she’s feeling responsible, since she decided to stay in Ramsay Street to make things difficult for Brad and Lauren. Terese is also regretting that decision, commenting that she can’t bear the thought of them being
together. Paul, clearly very embittered following his split with Naomi, advises her not to think about it; all she should be worrying about are the kids and her assets. Terese replies, “Oh, well I’m glad you put them in that order!” “Listen to me – you need to be
ruthless. And don’t be swayed just because somebody, once upon a time, told you they loved you. Because that sort of sentimental rubbish means absolutely nothing when it comes to dividing the spoils,” says Paul, matter-of-factly. Terese points out to him that she and
Brad aren’t divorcing, but Paul retorts that the situation still seems pretty final.
Back at number 26, Naomi is in the garden. Sheila comes out and tells her to stop feeling sorry for herself, and to start preparing for her job interview. Naomi’s confidence has really been battered by what Paul said to her, so, randomly, Sheila decides to lift her top
and flash Naomi, to shock her into action! Naomi says, “Woah! What are you doing, what are you doing?!” “Giving you a fright, trying to get your adrenaline pumping!” is Sheila’s reply. “It’s pumping, it’s pumping – keep those puppies away!” Sheila
embarks on a rousing motivational speech: “You are a Canning, for pity’s sake. And Cannings do not crumble in the face of adversity. What would great great great great great grandfather Frederick say if he could see you right now, hmm? Seven years of hard labour in the
colonies, just for stealing a single slice of bread. Being flogged every second day with a cat-o’-nine-tails. And he did all of that for you, Naomi!” Naomi points out that he didn’t. However, Sheila disagrees and continues: “Yes he did! And he never gave up, because
he kept his eye on the prize. Because he’s a Canning, and Cannings are made of tough stuff!" Sheila tells Naomi that this job is hers for the taking, and swears on Frederick’s grave that she will get her to the interview.
..
Tyler is practising his interview technique on Daniel at the Waterhole; Daniel thinks Tyler has got his strategy down to a tee. However, Tyler accuses Daniel of just being positive to make
him feel better, and that he's the same as Paige, ‘not believing that he is up to the task.’ Tyler also accuses Daniel of being a ‘fake cheerleader’, Tyler stomps off out of the bar, leaving Daniel totally perplexed.
At the Willis house, Paige has turned up to see Imogen and Piper. She invites them, and Josh, to come to the special dinner she’s preparing. Piper seems keen, but Imogen is having none of it and says, “Paige, we all know that all you’ve ever wanted is for my dad to be
with Lauren.” Paige tells Imogen that it might look like that but all she wants is to be around family that love each other and she thought that they could all put their anger aside for one night and have a good time together; Paige asks Imogen if she will come. Piper
gives Imogen a look, and Imogen sulks.
..
In the garden at number 26, Sheila is talking to Bossy: “If she doesn’t get this job, it’s not our fault!” Naomi turns up, and announces she’s got the job! She and Sheila hug and scream with
delight, as Naomi drops another bombshell – the wrestling firm wants her to leave for LA first thing in the morning! Sheila’s smile strains…
Daniel and Imogen enter the Waterhole for a drink, and see Terese sitting alone. Daniel suggests that Imogen goes to sit with her, as he knows she’s worried. He also suggests that he doesn’t stay over for a while, to give the family some space.
Imogen calls him ‘the best’ and kisses him, before going over to join her mum. Imogen’s disturbed, however, to see that Terese is looking up family lawyers on her laptop, quickly concluding that she’s thinking about a divorce. Terese closes the laptop, telling Imogen
that they don’t have to think about this just yet. Meanwhile, Tyler presents Daniel with a bowl of nachos, as a peace offering for losing his temper with him earlier. Tyler admits that Paige made him feel like he couldn’t handle interviews, and Daniel tells Tyler that
they’ll just have to show her that he can. They agree to have a drink together.
..
Piper has come round to join Brad, Lauren and Paige for dinner at number 32, and is helping to clear up afterwards. Brad reminds Piper that it’s her first day at Erinsborough High tomorrow,
so she should go and get some rest. Paige thanks Piper for coming and being so cool about things, as everyone bids her goodnight. Once Piper’s gone, Paige laments the fact that Josh and Imogen didn’t come over to join them. Paige also mentions Amber, but Lauren
comments that she genuinely had an assessment due. Paige decides to head over to Mark’s, leaving Lauren and Brad alone. Lauren tells Brad that she’s put some extra blankets in the spare room for him just in case he gets cold; but the sexual tension is crackling between them.
Only barely resisting the urge to kiss, they bid each other goodnight, and Lauren goes to her room.
The following morning, Paige is out for a jog. She stops by the garage to ask Tyler how his interviews are going. Tyler tells her that it’s not going to well and adds that it has nothing to do with his interviewing technique. Paige apologises for yesterday, commenting
that she didn’t mean to put him down as she had a lot on her mind and reassures him the right person for the job will come along. She wishes him luck, and he smiles as she jogs off.
..
..
On Ramsay Street, a limousine pulls up, ready to take Naomi to the airport for her trip to LA. Kyle and Sheila are there to see her off, and the limo driver introduces himself as Jesse Greene,
Naomi’s new executive assistant! Sheila says to him, “You poor boy – you don’t know what you’ve let yourself in for!” While Jesse grabs Naomi’s bags, Naomi gives Imogen, who has also turned up to see her off, a goodbye hug. Naomi then hands Imogen a brown envelope,
containing a USB stick, explaining, “When I was Paul’s EA, I networked my computer to his, so that I could work for him around the clock. Which was very unfair, but he expected me to do it. And I don’t think he had any idea how to access that, let alone disable
it, so… there is a whole load of dirt. About time the world saw just how repugnant Paul Robinson can be...” Imogen looks uncomfortable, but Jesse calls Naomi over, saying they have to leave. She hugs Imogen again, then Sheila and Kyle, and gets into the limo, announcing,
“Oh my god, it’s huge in here!” Sheila gets upset as the limo drives off, and Naomi pops up out of the roof, excitedly waving goodbye, and shouting excitedly about how she's got her own assistant! Paul, who's just coming out of number 30, looks sad as the limo drives away.

Tyler is sitting at the desk at Fitzgerald Motors waiting for his next interviewee, when she pulls up outside – in leathers, on a motorbike. She walks into the garage.
Tyler introduces himself to the blonde woman as she confidently approaches him. “Hi, Tyler. I’m Steph,” she says in reply - and Stephanie Scully it most certainly is.
