Sadie asks Gino what it's like living at Eirini Rising... Gino recommends Eirini to Vera... Vera realises that Byron and Sadie are still trying to get her
to move out... Terese tells Paul that it's best that he stay away from no. 22 until Nell has settled in properly... Aaron reminds Paul of when Nell tried
to split up Terese and Toadie... Andrew thinks he's spotted the curtain move inside the supposedly empty no. 30... A man sneaks around no. 30 looking for
food... Andrew finds the milk half-empty... Andrew hears a noise in the sun room and heads in there with a cricket bat...
At no. 30, just as JJ and Dex arrive home, Andrew calls out to them to wait by the front door, then goes into the sun room only to find it empty. They ask
him what's going on and he says that he thought he heard something. He welcomes them home and asks about the flight, before offering to get them some food.
JJ insists that Andrew doesn't need to stay and keep an eye on them, but he says that he's stocked the house with snacks so he'll have to stay and help them
to eat it all. As JJ and Dex take their junk food into the lounge, Andrew looks over at the sun room, still concerned.
..

At Lassiters, Nell and Paul are both walking through the complex and they bump into each other, making awkward small talk. Nell says that she's just finished
a shift at the Sonya Rebecchi Foundation, and she's heading home as JJ is getting back today. Paul tells her to say hi to JJ and, as she walks off, Paul
smiles to himself, having realised that Terese will be alone at no. 22.
At no. 32, Max is home from hospital, hands all bandaged up, and says that he might not be able to do the dishes for a while. Sadie jokes that Vera could
spoon feed him if he needs help, and they, along with Byron, look over at her, at which point she quickly closes the laptop. Byron apologises for the stunt
they pulled with Gino the other day, and Vera then admits that she's just been on the Eirini Rising website and is exploring it as an option. She tells them
that she spoke to Gino earlier and he's arranged a tour for her, which Sadie asks to join, as she's always wanted to see what it's like in there. Vera agrees,
but tells her housemates not to get too excited, as she won't be signing anything just yet.
..

At no. 30, JJ and Nell are happily reunited, saying how much they missed each other, as Dex and Andrew roll their eyes in the background. Andrew asks Dex
if he wants to go outside to play basketball, but when Dex goes to get the ball, he finds the mystery intruder hiding out in the sun room. He manages to get
JJ's attention to alert him to what's going on, then they convince Andrew to go and get burgers for dinner from Grease Monkeys. Once Andrew has gone, JJ
claims to be jetlagged so Nell also leaves, then he and Dex go to the sun room to ask their Uncle Taye what he's doing.
At no. 22, Paul finds Terese cleaning up in the back garden and she reminds him that he isn't supposed to be at the house. He says that Nell is clearly
not around, but Terese says that she could come home at any second. Paul says that he just saw Nell and she was heading to see JJ, so she'll be gone for
ages. They kiss, but Terese says that she promised Nell that Paul wouldn't come to the house and she has to honour that promise. Paul gives up, but then
notices one of Nell's sketches on the table - a drawing of her, Toadie, Terese and Hugo. She then accuses him of stalling and starts to escort him off the
premises.
..

Inside no. 22, they are still arguing about the issue as Terese shows Paul to the front door. He says that it's her loss if she doesn't want to spend time
with him, and she tells him to grow up as she shuts the door behind him. As Terese then returns to the back garden, Nell appears at the top of the stairs,
smiling to herself as she overheard everything.
Back at no. 30, Taye tells JJ and Dex that he wouldn't be there if he wasn't in serious trouble. Dex says that having three girlfriends at once sounds like
fun, and Taye says that it was, until they all found out about each other. He explains how Apollo Bay was too small to hide in, so he left, but Dex and JJ
wonder why he came to their house, as he and Remi barely speak and they haven't all seen each other in years. JJ realises that he was just using the house
to hide out while the family was in New York, but Taye is wondering why they've come back without their mums. JJ tells him that Cars hasn't been medically
clearer to fly yet, but she'll be ok, and that Remi didn't want them to miss the first day of school. Taye says that does sound like his sister, and he asks
them to keep quiet about him being there. Dex enthusiastically agrees, but before JJ can say anything, Andrew returns with the food. Taye quickly goes to
hide out in the sun room, as Andrew brings the burgers inside and Dex smiles to himself, though JJ looks less comfortable with the whole thing.
..

At Eirini Rising, Terese has finished showing Vera and Sadie around the complex, admitting that she was surprised to hear that Vera was thinking about
moving in. Vera says that she had to have her arm twisted, but she was very impressed with the tour - but she declares that money might be a problem.
Terese tells her that they can come to an arrangement, adding that she still owes Vera for what she put her through when she was hiding her wine bottles
in her recycling bin. Vera insists that she would never judge someone for their addiction problems, and Terese says that she's sure that they can find a
way to make it work for everybody.
Later at Harolds, Dr Bishara walks in and joins Vera at the counter, immediately recognising her from her tour earlier. She's pleased to meet him, saying
that she'd heard that some of the residents were younger, but she wasn't expecting this. Dr Bishara quickly explains that he's the locum doctor at Eirini,
filling in for Karl, so Vera asks how he feels about feet. He says that podiatry is her specialism, so Vera takes her coffee and tells him that she and 'the
puppies' will see him in surgery. He looks slightly alarmed as Vera leaves, waving goodbye to Byron, Sadie and Max as she goes. They all look pleased that
her plans to move out seem to be in full swing, but Sadie says that she still needs to work out her finances - and that Byron needs to keep his mouth shut
until Vera has gone.
..

At no. 22, Nell and Terese are finishing up dinner on the back patio, and Nell tells Terese that she can go and see Paul if she wants to. Terese says that
she isn't in his good books, but Nell asks if it's because of her - admitting that she was in the house earlier and heard their argument. Terese insists that
Paul is just being childish, but he'll get used to the new boundaries soon. Terese then spots her old trackie pants, that Nell found at the Sonya Rebecchi
Foundation and brought home. Nell apologises if they bring back memories of Toadie and Terese says that they do, but they also remind her of their movie
nights. She suggests that they have a movie marathon that night and Nell enthusiastically agrees.
At no. 30, Andrew is surprised to find that JJ and Dex haven't finished their food. JJ claims that the jetlag must be kicking in, so Andrew puts the
leftovers in the fridge and suggests that they could all play video games. JJ then asks if it would be alright for him and Dex to stay in the house on
their own. Andrew is disappointed and initially reluctant, but then agrees, telling them to call him straight away if anything strange happens. Once
Andrew has gone, Taye comes in from the sun room, pleased to hear that he's staying.
..

At no. 32, the housemates are having a meeting and Sadie brings up Holly, suggesting that they should offer her a place to crash whenever she wants, so
that she isn't having to stay on her own at no. 28 while Karl and Susan are away. Max and Byron agree, and Vera says that there'll certainly be enough room
now that she's moving into Eirini Rising. She explains that she worked out a payment plan with Terese, and she also told Curtis about her gambling problem,
and he's offered to help her out financially until she's back on her feet. She's sure that Sadie, Byron and Max will be glad to see the back of her, but they
all tell her that they'll miss having her around, and Max says that he'll visit her whenever he goes to see Harold. They all make a toast.
The next morning, JJ and Dex are getting ready for their first day back at school, as Taye joins them and suggests that they have a good excuse to skip it.
Dex is tempted, but JJ says that he was expelled last year so he can't mess up again this year. Taye says that they'll have plenty of time to spend together
before their mums get back, and the boys then leave as he looks around the house for something to do.
..

At Eirini Rising, Paul apologises to Terese for his behaviour the previous day, admitting that he just wants to make up for lost time. Terese says that she
does too, but she has to consider Nell, adding that the teenager overheard their conversation. She then gets a message from Nell, who left her calculator in
the car, and replies to her, telling her to come over and pick it up. She tells Paul that she and Nell had a movie marathon the night before, explaining about
her trackie pants that Nell brought home from the foundation. Paul is surprised that Nell would do that, but Terese thinks that it just reminded her of
happier times, when they were all a family. As Terese leaves to meet with Vera and sign the contract, Paul contemplates Nell's behaviour.
Inside, Terese hands the contract to Vera to sign, as Sadie watches on and Byron then comes in, having shifted all of Vera's boxes into her new apartment.
She thanks him and signs the contract, declaring that there's no turning back now. Terese welcomes her, as do Moira and Hilary, who have turned up as the
official welcoming party. Vera says that she's starting to feel like a celeb and tells the ladies to drop by her room when she's settled in, so she can show
them her cat figurines. Moira and Hilary share a disapproving look with each other, so Vera asks if Moira's the one who double dips in the guacamole on Taco
Tuesday. Hilary is amused by this, until Vera says that she hasn't read any of the fancy books in her personal library. Moira demands to know where she heard
any of this, and Vera says that she has her sources, before asking them to get out of the way as she heads off to her new room. Terese, meanwhile, if left
wondering if it was a good idea to allow Vera to move in.
..

At the school, Nell asks JJ if he got a good night's sleep and he says that he seems to be over the jetlag now. She says that she had a great night watching
movies with Terese and is wondering if she should tell her that she's happy for her and Paul. JJ asks if she really is, and Nell says that she can see that
Paul makes Terese happy, much more than Toadie ever did, so she's going to make the effort. JJ is pleased for her, and she then heads off to Eirini to get
her calculator, as Dex appears and shows JJ a photo from Taye of him with a stack of pancakes. JJ wonders if they should tell their ma that Taye is here, or
even Andrew, but Dex thinks it's a bad idea. JJ says that he feels bad about lying to their mums when Cara is in hospital, and he doesn't need this stress
right now. Dex pleads with him, so JJ agrees to let Taye stay, as long as nothing else goes wrong.
Back at Eirini, Terese is shocked as Moira and Hilary are attempting to veto Vera Punt moving in. They describe her as a troublemaker and a gossip and say
that she isn't the type of person that they want in their community. Vera then strolls in, having overheard everything and says that she's used to hostile
welcomes, adding that they've been ruling the roost for far too long and it might be time for a shake-up. As Terese desperately tries not to laugh, Vera
heads off, quietly celebrating as she walks down the hallway.
..

Outside, Nell arrives to pick up her calculator, but Paul spots her and asks if he can have a word. Nell is reluctant, but Paul insists, saying that he
knows she's a good kid and she probably thinks she's doing the right thing by Terese, but the games have to stop. Nell isn't sure what he's talking about,
but Paul points out the happy Rebecchi family sketch he found and her bringing Terese's trackie pants home from the Foundation. He adds that he knows that
she did the same thing when she tried to get her dad and Terese to split up and she needs to stop her childish attempts to manipulate Terese. As Nell
struggles to get a word in, Paul tells her not to come between him and Terese as it won't end well for her, then thanks her for the little chat and walks
away, leaving Nell shaken and upset.
