continue to see each other in secret... Jasmine blurts out that she saw Jane kissing the cleaner...
In the Eirini courtyard, Jane is mortified as Terese talks to her about what's been going on. Terese says that this is so unlike Jane and she asks how long
it's been going on for - Jane explains that it's only been a few weeks and she was planning to tell Terese. Terese wonders if she's only saying that because
she got caught, and asks if this is why Jane has been defending Clint over the thefts. Jane insists that she was talking to Clint on the phone most of the
previous evening and she would have realised if he was stealing things whilst talking to her. Terese isn't so sure and wonders why Jane didn't just tell her,
but Jane admits that she hasn't told anyone, not even her children, and that he's only been to her house once, which was when Terese called by and interrupted
them. Terese then asks if they've been spending all of their time at Clint's place, at which point she realises that they were the ones who left the used
condom in the empty apartment at Eirini. Jane says that they just got carried away and she isn't proud of it, but Terese is furious with her friend.
..

At The Waterhole, a concerned Holly watches as Aaron serves drinks, putting coasters over the glasses and telling the customers not to leave them unattended.
Holly tries to reassure Aaron that the culprits probably wouldn't strike twice at the same bar, but Aaron says that you can't be too careful. He says that
he's already asked Krista to hire extra staff for busy nights, at which point Holly asks if he could hire her. He wonders why she doesn't get some extra work
from her dad, at the tram, but she explains that the pay is terrible and that working at The Waterhole might be her way back into Lassiters, showing them that
they made a mistake by not hiring her for the piano bar gig. Aaron agrees to Holly doing a trial shift that evening.
At the school, Jane is telling Clint about Terese's horrified reaction to all of her revelations, but Clint thinks she might just have been surprised. Jane
says that she was also questioning her judgement about whether Clint was actually the thief, though she did tell her how they'd been talking on the phone for
most of the night. Clint explains that he only cut the call short because he had to go to the book shop to pick something up - he then hands over a limited
edition copy of Pride and Prejudice. Jane is delighted, but then wonders if he bought it to give himself an alibi for last night's thefts. Clint asks if she
thinks that he's the thief - she tells him that she doesn't, but Terese might be harder to convince. Clint says that, now that Jasmine has been cleared, he
might become prime suspect again, so Jane agrees to have a word with her friend when things have calmed down.
..

At no. 32, Max thanks Andrew for the lift home and, as they walk in the front door, Byron, Holly and Sadie are coming in the back door. Holly is panicking
about her trial shift, as she doesn't know how to make a dirty martini, and Byron asks Max if he wants to join them all for a night out, as Holly will be
giving away free martinis. With everyone else distracted, Sadie asks her dad why he's with Max - Andrew says that he saw him and offered him a lift home,
which Sadie thinks it unusually nice of him.
At The Waterhole, Holly is doing her best to make a good impression during her trial shift, when a woman comes in and pours spirits on the bar, about to set
light to them when Holly spots her and blows out the match. She tells her that she can't just walk in and burn the place down and tells her to leave, but
Aaron then appears and immediately recognises Roxy. He tells Holly that she used to work at the bar and lived on Ramsay Street. Roxy complains about how Holly
won't let her make a Flaming Roxy, but Aaron thinks it was a good call, as those things are lethal.
..

At no. 24, Byron is helping himself to some food from the fridge, when Nicolette appears and stops him, saying that she'd made it for Isla's lunch tomorrow.
Their argument ends as Jane walks in and says that they need to have a family meeting - she then sits Nic and Byron down and tells them that she has taken a
lover, before confirming Byron's suspicions that it's Clint. She admits that, despite her earlier doubts, he's a very sensitive man and they have a strong
connection. Nic wants more details, but Jane says that she's only telling them this much because Terese found out and is furious. Nic wonders why, but Jane
says that it's just a difficult situation as Clint works at the school and Eirini. Jane is then shocked as she receives a message saying that Terese has
fired Clint.
At Eirini, Jane walks in, as Clint is trying to defend himself, saying that he wouldn't have pushed for CCTV cameras if he was the thief. Jane also jumps
to his defence, saying that Terese can't fire him without evidence and wonders if all this is just because she wasn't honest about the fact that she was
seeing him. Terese calls the assumption ridiculous and Clint says that he and Jane want the thief to be caught too. Terese stops him and says that she isn't
firing him because of the thefts but because he slept with Jane in one of the apartments, which was extremely unprofessional. Jane quickly replies that Terese
is being hypocritical, as she got drunk at work and caused an incident that almost killed Gino, leaving Terese stunned. She reminds Jane that she lost her
job over that, and it's because of those kinds of incidents that she has to protect the residents. Clint begs for another chance, but Terese says that her
decision is final, at which point Jane says that it's a shame Terese doesn't believe in second chances for others, considering how many she's been given
herself. A furious Terese then asks them both to leave the premises.
..

At no. 32, Byron, Max and Sadie are making a toast to Holly and all of the free drinks they'll be getting, now that she's working at The Waterhole. Sadie
notices Max checking the beer bottle and says that he doesn't need to worry, with Byron adding that the drink spiking didn't even happen to him, so he
needs to chill. Sadie is irritated when her dad then turns up, saying that he wanted to check in on everyone. Sadie takes him to one side and says that
she knows he's missing Wendy, but he's being clingy. She asks him to leave, telling him that she'll go for a walk with him the next day.
Terese arrives back at no. 22 to find Roxy, who's flown in a day early ahead of starting work at Eirini Rising. She explains that Kyle is happy to look
after Jet, and send daily videos of him, while she's away, as Terese tells Nell that Roxy is going to be helping out until Susan gets back from Europe, and
that she was going to mention it tonight. Nell is happy to have Roxy staying, at which point Roxy asks for updates on what's been happening on Ramsay Street.
..

At no. 24, Aaron is telling Nic about Roxy turning up at the bar earlier - Nic says that Roxy and Holly in the same room is quite a terrifying thought, as
they're quite similar. Jane then arrives home, turning down the offer of leftovers and pouring herself a glass of wine instead. Nic tells Aaron that Terese
found out about Jane and Clint, and has fired Clint, and is annoyed with Aaron as he knew about the whole affair and didn't say anything. Jane says that Aaron
guessed and that she asked him to keep quiet about it. Aaron doesn't understand why Terese fired Clint, until Nicolette suddenly works out that the mysterious
noises from apartment 304 were Jane and Clint. She can't stop laughing about the whole situation and they joke about Clint having wonderful table manners when
he joins them all for dinner.
The next morning, at no. 32, Byron, Sadie and Max are having breakfast as Holly arrives, apologising for not joining them the night before. She explains that
she ended up having quite a dramatic first shift at the Waterhole, as a crazy woman tried to set the bar on fire. When she explains that the woman is called
Roxy and used to live on Ramsay Street, Max realises that it's his cousin and wonders what she's doing in town. Holly then tells Sadie that she's taken on an
extra shift so she can't make the hand massage she had booked at the spa, and she confirms that she's been taken on full-time at the bar. As they're
congratulating her, Byron notices Max checking his food and tells him not to worry, as he bought it all fresh from Harolds that morning. Max claims that
he thought he saw a hair in it, but Holly realises what's going on and suggests that he take her appointment at the spa, as it might help him to relax.
Sadie confirms that the treatment would also be good for the burns on his hands but Max is still reluctant and he gets up to leave. Holly goes after him
and says that this might be good for him, and he can't avoid going to the Lassiters complex forever. He finally gives in and tells Sadie that he'll take
the appointment.
..

At no. 22, Terese is chatting to Roxy about the Jane situation, wondering if she really is being hypocritical about it all. Roxy thinks that it was the
right decision and Jane will just have to accept it, but Terese worries that she's put both her working relationship and friendship with Jane at risk. Roxy
then asks if Terese believes that Clint is the one stealing the cleaning products, with Terese unable to see who else could be responsible. Nell walks in and
starts listening in, as Roxy says that this Clint guy must be pretty amazing if he's already got such a hold over Jane, and she looks over at Nell, who
quietly describes him as a '10'. Roxy then jokes that maybe Terese does owe Jane an apology, and sarcastically says that it's not like Terese and Paul
would ever hook up in the workplace!
At the spa, Max is receiving his treatment from Sadie, telling her that he's already starting to feel more relaxed. He then asks if she gives treatments to
her family, saying that her dad must find himself getting very stressed at work. Sadie tells Max that her dad is being very overbearing at the moment - he
tells her that it's probably just because he cares. Sadie then tells him to stop talking and puts on his eye mask, trying to get him to relax, but he's
startled by a bang outside. Sadie goes to look and says that there's nothing there, so Max sits back and tries to calm down again.
..

Roxy arrives at the Eirini office, very taken with the whole thing, telling Terese that she's impressed with the way she created the business from scratch.
Terese credits Karl and Susan with helping to get things up and running, but Roxy says that it was Terese's idea and she's created something special. Terese
then asks Roxy if she'll be sticking around for Leo and Krista's wedding - Roxy confirms that she will, though she hasn't received an invitation yet. Terese
tells her that they haven't sent them out, but says that Leo will be delighted to see her, as will Paul, when he gets back. Roxy tells her auntie that she was
very glad to hear that she was back together with Paul, as they're soulmates, and she never really bought Terese and Toadie as a couple. Terese admits that
she and Toadie were both looking for something new, but it didn't work out for either of them in the end. Not wanting to dwell on the past, Terese quickly
changes the subject to work, asking Roxy to get some quotes for new security cameras. Roxy confirms that she's already done it and a technician will be
arriving soon.
At the school, Jane spots Clint doing some maintenance in the corridor and walks towards him. He tries to take her hand but she tells him to keep it
professional, though they're spotted by Nell, who smiles to herself. Lana Kline, from the Education Department, then turns up, with Jane surprised by
the visit. Lana explains that they need to talk urgently, as Jasmine's parents have made some worrying allegations.
..

At Eirini, Max turns up to visit Roxy, who's very happy to see him and says that she'd been planning to call him after work. She explains that they're
very busy and asks if they can catch up later, which Max agrees to, but before he goes he asks if his dad knows that Roxy is in Erinsborough. She confirms
that he does, and Max wonders if she was sent to keep an eye on him. Terese says that she was the one who called Roxy and invited her down, and then heads
off to speak to the camera technician. Once they're alone, Roxy asks why Shane would want her to keep an eye on Max. Max tries to claim that his dad is just
a worrier, but Roxy sees through it and asks for the truth - Max then tells her that he's mixed up with the wrong people and he thinks they've tracked him
down.
..

In Jane's office at the school, Lana points out that it was inappropriate for a student to see Jane kissing another staff member, and Jasmine's parents
are unhappy that their daughter was wrongly accused of the thefts. Jane says that she understands this, but she's also sick of everyone accusing Clint of
being the thief, though Lana says that she fears that Jane's involvement with Clint is preventing her from being impartial. Jane says that Lana has made
her point and that hopefully the new security cameras will uncover the real thief, but Lana adds that she isn't finished yet - Jane failed to declare a
romantic relationship in the workplace. Jane becomes defensive and says that she'll declare the relationship now, but Lana tells her that it's too late
and she's suspended while they conduct a full investigation.
