Following the disappearance, and presumed death, of Dee Bliss on her wedding day, the coroner Lisa Agnew declared that there had been no evidence of foul play on the wedding car, which had gone over a cliff, and the car had been roadworthy and within the speed limit. A verdict of tragic misadventure was recorded, leaving Dee’s grief-stricken husband Toadie furious and determined to sue his good friend, mechanic Stuart Parker, who had provided the car, though he later came to his senses and realised that nobody was to blame.
