Dia Almeda

After spending time doing aid work in East Timor, lawyer Toadfish Rebecchi decided that he wanted to make a difference, surprising his friends back in Erinsborough by announcing that he'd decided to adopt Dia, a little boy he'd met out there. However, because it was required that Toadie had lived in East Timor for a year before he'd be allowed to adopt, he lied on his Visa forms. The adoption continued, but at the airport, Dia didn't arrive, and Toadie was devastated to realise that his lies had been uncovered and Dia wouldn't be coming to Australia.
