When Lassiters Hotel's temporary manager Brett Heade accidentally double booked the hotel for two large groups, chaos ensued as a fight broke out between the guests. The hotel's Executive Consultant, Krista Sinclair, who'd been taking on more responsibility due to Brett's ineptitude, tried to fix the mess, but was shocked when she found out that Doug Baldree, the head of one of the groups, was the lead writer for travel website, The Traveller's Owl. Aware that one negative article from him could seriously damage the hotel, Krista attempted to repair the damage, but when Brett only made matters worse, trying to provide food for one of the groups in the ballroom, which was already booked, she ended up firing him. With guests walking around reception holding plates of food, Doug told Krista that he'd cancelled his reservation and taking his group to another hotel, pointing out that she was lucky his boss hadn't asked him to write an article on the worst places to stay in Australia.
