After being sacked by new salon owner Gino Esposito, Lyn Scully decided to start cutting hair for her clients at her home. During one of her first appointments, with Joan Billing, Gino turned up and Lyn was forced to hide the hairdryer and pretend that Joan had simply popped in for a cup of coffee. Gino was immediately suspicious and warned Lyn that if she was trading illegally, he would have to report her to the council.
