After deciding to buy a car, Imogen Willis, along with her friend Amber, met up with Rick Black, who took them for a test drive in his car. Though Imogen was very keen to go ahead - to defy her parents' wishes, if nothing else - Amber suggested that they take some time to think about it, and maybe get her brother Mason to look at the car first. Rick then mentioned that he already had a buyer lined up, at which point Imogen agreed to buy it. Back on Ramsay Street, Imogen was delighted with her new car, which she Christened Hermione, but her parents were alarmed at her impulsive purchase, and when Mason took a look, he told her that she'd been conned, and it was going to need a lot of work to get it roadworthy - which he agreed to do, in return for part ownership of the vehicle.
