After finding out that her fiance Scotty was gay, Georgia Brooks went into shock, feeling particularly stupid as her friends Chris and Kyle had known for weeks, but hadn't said anything. It was only when Georgia was planning to elope with Scotty that Kyle finally forced him to be honest - Scotty then fled town, and Georgia tried to hide from the world. Kyle then sent her some flowers - delivered by Dwight Brewer - to try and cheer her up, and, knowing how he felt about her, Georgia went to see him and explained that she was touched, but wasn't ready to even think about another relationship yet.
