When Leo Hancock started writing essays for the other kids in his class, in order to make money and join a break-dancing crew, he was threatened by Eddie Broomhall. Leo’s father, teacher Evan, broke up the argument and Leo told Eddie that he would have to change a few sentences in the essay, as he’d given an identical one to another student, Adam Stevens. Unfortunately, Eddie didn’t take the advice and the identical essays were picked up on by a teacher, leading to both boys being suspended.
