When 17-year-old Ringo Brown had his heart broken by older Carmella Cammeniti, he and his big brother, Frazer, returned home to Muttatang to recover from recent events. Whilst there, Frazer ran into Jacqui Burns, an older woman he’d been involved with when he was 17. She was thrilled to see him, and told him that she was pulling beers at The Black Goat pub if he felt like dropping by. Recently-married Frazer had to turn down the offer, but admitted to his little brother that Jacqui still made his heart race, but he’d almost been run out of town when people found out about their affair, making Ringo realise that what he was going through was quite a typical rite of passage.
