When Steph Scully found a lump in her breast, she struggled to deal with it, but eventually went to the hospital to have an ultrasound. As she underwent the procedure with nurse Karen Burns, Steph grew increasingly distressed as Karen started marking crosses on the screen, but was unable to discuss what she was doing, telling Steph that she would have to talk to the doctor. At that, Steph started shouting that she wanted to speak to her specialist straight away.
