When Terese Willis and Jane Harris came up with a plan to take the land used for Erinsborough High - which was planned for closure at the end of the year - and divide it between a downsized school and Terese's planned retirement home, they had to first get their plan past Erinsborough Council. One councillor, Gillian Byrne, wondered if the plan would actually be worth them considering, if it still had be approved by the Board of Education. Another councillor, Anthony Marin, then chipped in, saying that he was very impressed and that it would be up to the council to make the Board of Education see that it could be a success.
