Just as cash-strapped Joe Scully was attempting to keep the severity of his money troubles from his family, John Cable arrived on his doorstep. Contractor John had been struggling financially himself, since one of Joe’s jobs had fallen through and he turned up demanding the money he was owed. Joe was forced to explain that he was virtually bankrupt – not only to John, but to his children and in-laws.

Notes: Martin Trainor previously played a removalist in 1994 and Ted Mason in 1992.
