When Danny Ramsay and Scott Robinson were wrongly accused of mugging neighbour Carol Brown, Sergeant Hawkins and Constable Bright arrived in Ramsay Street to question them about the incident. The boys then returned home, with trepidation, and were taken to the police station to be officially questioned, where Constable Bright signed them in. Later that day, Danny’s father, Max, visited Carol to try to get to the bottom of the matter, but, upset, she called the police, telling them that Max had threatened her. Hawkins and Bright then visited Max and warned him to stay away from Mrs Brown, as it could harm Danny’s case.
