Ordering a drink at Charlie's Bar one day, Margot Conway got chatting to barman Andrew Robinson, complimenting him on his Scottish accent, mentioning that her ex came from Edinburgh, and learning that Andrew had just bought the bar with his father. As waitress Tash Williams sent Andrew off to the stockroom, she told Margot that she was too old for Andrew, and that he treated his friends badly anyway. Tash's attack was a result of her recent involvement in a car crash with Andrew, which she blamed him for, and she thought her words had had an effect, as Margot walked out and a disappointed Andrew returned. But Margot then returned, explaining that she'd left her wallet in the car, and Andrew took her for a walk around the hotel grounds. The pair seemed to be getting on well and were about to kiss when Andrew suddenly stopped and ran off, claiming that he had an important meeting, but actually suffering the effects of epilepsy, which he had developed following a head injury in the car accident.
