Desperate to be noticed, by those around her but particularly by her dad, troublesome Natasha Williams moved to Erinsborough with her laid-back dad Michael, and immediately got herself in trouble when she did some scantily-clad modelling to promote radio station PirateNet. After lying on the consent forms that she was 18, Natasha soon found herself in trouble when her dad found out and threatened station owner Paul Robinson with legal action. It was Paul's son, Andrew, having caused the problem, who came up with the solution of using a marker pen to cover up the slightly racier parts of the promotional posters, and Natasha was impressed with Ramsay Street's bad boy, seeing him as the most popular guy in school, and her ticket to similar popularity. Andrew proved difficult to win over at first, with competition from neighbour Summer Hoyland, but Natasha quickly showed that she wasn't above lying, cheating and manipulating in order to get her man.
