Facing serious problems in his marriage, after his wife Priya had an affair, lawyer Ajay Kapoor thought that he was coping, and happily took on a divorce case at work. However, after meeting the unapologetic Tony Corvus, who felt that there was no problem with his affair with his young assistant, and that his wife Sheree was simply trying to get as much money as possible. As Tony showed Ajay pictures of his new younger girlfriend, and complained about how Sheree had never had a full-time job, Ajay became increasingly frustrated, and when Sheree's lawyer failed to arrive for the meeting, Ajay finally snapped and told Tony that he would no longer represent him, wishing Sheree luck in the case as he left the room.
