When Libby Kennedy was shadowing her friend, nurse Dione Bliss, for a magazine article, Dee introduced her to a patient, Nicole Elliston, who was in a coma and critically ill. Dee asked Libby to sit with Nicole and chat to her for a while, which Libby, though uncomfortable, did. Not long after, Dee was called away to an emergency and told a shocked Libby that Nicole had died, leaving Libby to realise how difficult Dee’s job was and how minor her own problems were in comparison.
