Having decided to try online dating to improve her love life and get her focus away from her engaged best friend, Toadie, Amy Greenwood met Ben Fenlon-Bone, a very annoying fan of the soap opera One Way Street, who immediately told Amy that she was the spitting image for one of its stars, Jocelyn Steepleford. The date was a disaster, with Ben only wanting to talk about One Way Street, which was finishing, and the fight to save it. The final straw came when Ben started reciting an A-Z of One Way Street, which he considered to be his party piece, but just left Amy wishing he'd shut up. By the time he got to the letter Y, Toadie, who'd been worried about her and waiting nearby to give her an escape, came over and told her that her dog, Ziggy, had run away and she needed to come and help with the search. Amy quickly made it clear that there wasn't going to be a second date before running off to search for her fake dog.
