When old family friend Alan Napier informed Oliver Barnes that he was his grandfather, and that Clifford and Pamela Barnes weren’t his real parents, Oliver was left confused. When a DNA test proved that the now comatose Alan was telling the truth, Oliver’s girlfriend Elle Robinson suggested using private eye Gary Mason to track down Alan’s two children – Marcus and Rebecca. Though Oliver was uncomfortable with the idea, he agreed and was presented with the information on the two potential candidates for his birth mother or father.
