After Lassiter's hotel lost its five-star rating, a new manager, Terese Willis, was brought in. She spent several weeks working hard to bring the hotel back up to standard, working alongside its owner Paul Robinson to make sure that they would regain the extra star. When hotel inspector Robert Goodman arrived, he was impressed, and at the end of the inspection, it seemed as though Lassiter's might have earned back its five-star status. But as Paul and Terese were celebrating with a hug, her jealous husband Brad stormed in, telling Paul that he knew about him stealing other men's wives, and his recent sexual harassment suit, and he wasn't going to allow him to take Terese too. Brad quickly calmed down as Terese explained that there was nothing going on, but it was too late for the inspection, as Robert had witnessed the whole thing.
