When Boyd Hoyland went to work at local gym, Fitness For Life, he was convinced by manager, Krystal, to enter a junior bodybuilding championship. His competition in representing the gym was Mo Gorman, who was already far more advanced than his competitor. Boyd was convinced to take human growth hormones to improve his performance, but Mo continued to goad him. In the end, Boyd gave up on the competition as the hormones affected his health and he realised that it wasn’t worth it.
