John Green 1986
Occupation: Student

As editor of the Erinsborough High school newspaper, John Green had quite a lot of influence, particularly amongst his fellow students. When Eileen Clarke was left in charge of Daphne’s Coffee Shop, she quickly managed to offend the local student population by throwing them out for being too noisy, or refusing to serve them. John quickly convinced most of the school to boycott their favourite hang-out, even beginning a protest outside the shop to get rid of Eileen. Daphne was horrified to return and find her business in trouble, but Clive Gibbons, who’d actually been left in charge but had passed the responsibility on to Eileen, managed to get rid of the kids by paying them and came up with several schemes to win back the old customers.

Notes: Bruce Stadus returned in 1992 as Mick Cooper.
