Whilst searching for Gareth Bateman, Freya Wozniak and Levi Canning found out that his phone had been stolen from a stall at South Melbourne Market. After police officer Levi threatened stallholder Mickey Mannion with looking closer at the comings and goings from his stall, Mickey agreed to hand over the name of his supplier, Tina Halliday. When they found Tina, she'd clearly been warned that they were coming, with a story ready for them. She explained that she'd got the phone from someone who found phones at rubbish tips, then repaired them and sold them on. As Tina was shown a photo of Gareth and claimed that she didn't know him, they left her, but she was soon on the phone to someone - she told them that the phone that was meant to be destroyed, wasn't, and that now there were people sniffing around, asking questions.
